    Hi All,

I’m looking for fox / rabbit shooting permission in Kildare or the surrounding areas. From just outside Kildare town myself, I would also be open to travelling further if the opportunity arises. I shoot only for recreational purposes and to help out farmers or landowners with vermin issues. Any help would be appreciated and thanked. I am willing to travel and introduce myself.

Also willing to help out with crows / pigeons if needed.

if interested or know someone who might be please message.

Best thing to do would be to get some cards printed up with your name number email and insurance company and knock on some doors.

Aren’t the two lads from the Irish hunting podcast from Kildare ? They might point you in the right direction or have someone who could help

maybe try an add in donedeal, would be very important IMO to show you have insurance. I shot a load of crows for a farmer friend of mine a few years ago, he was delighted when I did it because he had a high number of calves sick because of them, he had tried absolutely everything and shooting them is the only thing that worked. I just didn’t have the time the last 2 years to do it for him and I told him to ask the gun club or just spread the word because lads would delighted to do it, he wouldn’t hear of it, insurance / claims and the thought of allowing a stranger into his farmyard with a gun just put him off. I’d say this is the case for a lot of farmers. I’m farming myself and I can tell you people aren’t turning you down because of their love for vermin. To be honest I wouldn’t let anyone on my land to shoot if I didn’t know them or got a reference, the whole claims thing and the idea of someone scoping out the place would just put me off rightly or wrongly.
