run windows .exe BIOS update on linux box

I just upgraded an old Dell optiplex 790 to Debian 13. Unfortunately I only decided to update the BIOS after I wiped the windows partition and the only update program available runs under windows.

I was hoping to find a system rescue distro that would boot into some version of windows so I can run the BIOS update but so far nothing fits the bill. The original installation was windows7 and I suspect a boot/rescue disk from around that vintage is the answer but I don't run any M$windows systems of any vintage 🤑

It's not particularly critical, I mainly want to get rid of some company branding that's embedded in the BIOS

    Appreciate any suggestions….
