    Joe wouldn’t let you away with calling certain areas of the city “problematic”.

    He would ask in incredulity “In Dublin? This happened in Dublin?” And then would rattle off a few street names, church names, go all glassy eyed and then stop for an ad break.

    30 years ago I used to regularly get de bus and there was an auld wan who verbally assaulting anyone who was in 'her' seat. She was had a posh English accent and believe was a professor in Trinity.
