Couldn’t agree more here but this extends further than the US and it’s for both sides. Left and right whatever side they align themselves to.

100% certain but it’s pure and utter conjecture yet again.

Only one of us looks silly pal, I’m 100% certain of that much.

This thread on x maybe explains why they were pushing the left and now trans motive hard

There's no evidence the suspects partner was involved though. In fact its reported they cooperated with the investigation.

AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. AT&T Stadium declared it would open its doors free of charge for three days to honor Charlie Kirk's legacy .

Owner Jerry Jones also announcing a "Charlie's Kids Zone" with games, memorabilia and learning programmes dedicated to Charlie Kirk's legacy.

Based on what we've heard, the groyper movement are not averse to dating trans people so this would not rule him out of being over.

It's actually worth embedding this it's that hilarious, even the interviewer is struggling to contain her mirth.

Another quite telling detail I wasn't aware of was the reluctance of the state authorities to release the stills of Robinson to the public to help with the investigation. Given Cox was already praying the murderer was 'not from here', you can understand the reticence in revealing he was, and from a Trump supporting family. Hence the insistence that he was 'very different' and had been radicalised by leftist ideology.

Bob Vylan (not Dylan) might be in trouble again after insulting Charlie Kirk on stage.

Growing reports of sackings of workers in the US for criticising Charlie Kirk or in some cases excusing the assassination.

How many people on here are pro cars or flying? We all accept that a certain number of deaths will happen. That doesn’t mean that we deserve to die next time we get in the car or we shouldn’t aim to improve safety standards etc.

I think the same applies to Charlie. Just because he was supportive of guns and accepted that some deaths will happen, that absolutely doesn’t justify someone murdering him and he didn’t deserve it.

Now I know some people will scoff and say there’s a big difference between a car and a gun and I fully agree on that. But the Americans dont. They’re brought up believing guns are a necessary security measure.

Ultimately, you just can’t justify someone getting shot dead like that. And it’s quite disturbing that so many seem ok with it

It wasn't but you said you would vote for that type of person

    Master of the Universe

There seem to be far more people upset by the idea (and making sure they let everyone know they're upset by the idea) that people would justify someone being shot, then there actually are people justifying someone being shot.

The American way, anyway. Well, the GOP way.

Some on Far Right and Far Left comparing him to Horst Wessel.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,605 ✭✭✭✭Strazdas

And yet they have provided very little evidence about his ideology so far.

The fact that the killer was gay and may or may not have had a trans partner is surely totally irrelevant. There are quite a few openly gay people out there who very right wing, pro-Trump, pro-MAGA etc.

Does it even matter which political alignment the suspect has?
You can’t go around murdering people because you disagree with them.
It might not even be politically motivated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,584 ✭✭✭standardg60

And again, no one here is attempting to justify his murder, discussing possible motives and indeed establishing one is an essential part of proving murder, it does not seek to justify it.

After the author Stephen King, now also Alister Campbell has publicly apologized for attributing quotes to Kirk which made him out to be homophobic. Of course they weren't the only ones who joined in on the pile on about someone they hadn't a clue about till this week.

If I were Kirk's wife I would set up a crowdfund to take legal action against every public figure who accused her husband of being a Nazi, fascist, a homophobe, a racist prior to his death, to make them complicit in making him a hate figure and ultimately his death. See how they'll enjoy being a hate figure then. Well, they're the one's arguing words have consequences, aren't they!

All rationality was lost about 10 years ago. It's of course a case of a maniac killing someone unjustly. But that's not enough, everything must be framed in terms of partisan politics. No other lense exists apparently.

Its also a total clown show in terms of the FBI releasing what counts to gossip to a media

He was actually inciting violence with his statement "you talk the ****, you're gonna get banged".

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,888 ✭✭✭Sudden Valley

Charlie Kirk was against gay marriage, against adoption of kids by gay parents. According to wikipeida (which cited a source for this statement) he criticized YouTuber Ms. Rachel for a post celebrating Pride Month. In the same podcast episode, Kirk called being gay an "error" and likened the LGBTQ pride movement to encouraging drug addicts. I think he was homophobic.

since when does 'get banged' means gets shot/murdered ? What a useless comment. Besides from the one other well known action it could mean you get a punch in the face or elsewhere, but surely not getting murdered!! And in internet times it means more you get a verbal shitstorm, so nothing physical involved really. Another post of victim blaming in a murder case. Feeling sick here with posts like that.

Her doing that could very possibly end up being a double edged sword.

Also you can't generally take legal cases around defamation if the person is dead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,610 ✭✭✭mulbot

Getting banged literally means that, it's common gang language and it's common in rap music to describe getting shot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,610 ✭✭✭mulbot

And what are you on about "Victim blaming"?, Bob Vylan isn't a victim, he's a vile piece of trash

So then is the Qur’an and Bible.

Juat because someone chooses to follow scripture does not make one homophobic, it just means they follow what they beleive is Gods law. Even Gay people choose to stop with Gay Relationships because they put their trust and faith in scripture.

Kirk legitimated it himself with his statement.

"It`s worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so we can have the Second Amendment." .

    Bob Said

“If you talk sh*t, you get banged”

“RIP Charlie Kirk, you piece of sh*t”.

Obviously saying pronouns is mocking his death.

If you talk sh*t, you get banged - Obviously meant Violent in nature, either attacked, or shot. As Charlie was Shot its obvious Bob is reffering to this.

RIP (Rest in P@ss) - Obviously meaning to spit on the memory of someone who has died, total contempt and disrespect.

Doesn't mean he deserved to die.

You can believe in the 2nd amendment and not want all your enemies or people you dont agree with to die by shooting.

alright, sorry, might have gotten it wrong, thought that was a cite from Kirk. Vile piece of trash, haha, that expression made me laugh in all this misery. But with the name he shows some sort of 'thoughtful' or at leat some creative attitude…😁

We allowed gay marriage here, we are Christian. Many religions are indeed homophobic and Charlie kirk in his statements comes across as homophobic.
