Tennent looks like Harpo Marx in this!

And Toby Jones doesn't look like Murdoch either!

A very starry cast. Hope it makes the best use of them. I saw the real Nick Davies at an event when he was promoting the book Hack Attack. Very interesting speaker.

George Clooney was to make a movie of it but it never happened.

Toby Jones is portraying Alan Rushbridger, editor of the Guardian- not Murdoch, my mistake.

    Steve Pemberton is portraying Murdoch.

I saw that photo in a newspaper yesterday, thought it was David McCullagh!

That must be Nigel with the brie...

Watched the first episode but they really overdo the asides to the camera and breaking the fourth wall.

It can be very effective if used sparingly like in House of Cards, but use it too much and it just draws me out of the show.

    The Hack
Investigative journalist Nick Davies receives an anonymous tip-off regarding Rupert Murdoch's News of the World. Following the trail, he discovers damning evidence that proves phone hacking at the paper was not the work of 'one rogue reporter', as has been claimed for years but was endemic. Nick and his long-time editor and friend Alan Rusbridger decide to risk their careers and their newspaper to go up against one of the most powerful media organisations in the world. Drama, starring David Tennant and Toby Jones
