Prefacing this as pure speculation. To use the four dimensional chess narrative then when playing chess you sacrifice your own pieces (even the powerful ones) to ultimately win the game. My immediate gut reaction to this is Qui Bono? You have the latest news of the Epstein Birthday card and you grasp that this isn't going away no matter what deflections have been tried. It could be a case of the sociopaths in the ranks (even unbeknownst to Trump who just wants the story to go away) taking steps to conduct a false flag assassination. Murder one of their own to (1) finally deflect from the Epstein story and dominate news cycles and (2) muster capital to clamp down on the loony left liberals with sniper rifles killing people like Kirk. In the end all that would matter is winning/consolidating power and if murdering a sacrificial lamb, a man with a wife, kids and extended family caters to that then it is a very disturbing thought. If no suspect is found and charged then it would be discomfiting and may lend credence to the (speculative) idea that this was a coordinated assassination while also allowing the fear mongering of loony left liberal murderers at large to fester helping the aforementioned consolidation of power.

Well clarified in fairness to you. Maybe you could also clarify what he meant when he said that the granting of civil rights in the 60's was a "huge mistake " ?

He showed complete apathy to victims of gun violence and I, along with others are showing him the same.

    Rest In Whatever.

Grossly exaggerated, eh? He called civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr "awful" and "not a good person". He assailed the Civil Rights Act of 1965 (outlaws discrimination based on race, religion, colour, sex and national origin, and prohibited segregation). He believed in that "great replacement" bullshit. He opposed the Juneteenth holiday. He said "If I see a Black pilot, I'm going to be like, 'Boy, I hope he's qualified'" . He was a racist, reactionary, foul, provocative, ****-stirring piece of sh1t and there will be about, say, twenty thousand people, killed unlawfully yesterday that I will be mourning before I mourn him.

Sorry what 'leanings' do I have?

A safe assumption is that you would have right-leaning sympathies. Otherwise you wouldn't have posted in the manner you did.

I've never posted in this thread before this event.

erm, yes you have with a despicable comment alleging posters here have mental health issues…

There are now layers of delusion in your posts making it clear that you have issues. Perhaps you feel encouraged by your fellow troubled posters but that doesn't make you right or good.

Again, more of the snide comments referring to mental health - how very Trumpian of you 🙄
(And you think your "leanings" aren't visible in your posts?)

Where was the good guy with a gun to stop him?
oh right, he couldn’t have stopped him.

I would hope this would lead to a greater debate on gun violence in the USA, but I know it won’t.

It will be used to fuel more hate and division.

You are aware there have been democratic politicians attached and killed recently aren't you? Or do you think this was co-ordinated by Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary and the lizard people?

Nutjubs don't just adhere to one particular political philosophy.

this would insinuate that you agree with him on that stance then? Isn’t that a contradiction?

Yes that comment was about this event….

A safe assumption is that you would have right-leaning sympathies. Otherwise you wouldn't have posted in the manner you did.

It's telling that you think being against dismissive comments around somebody's murder - which is all I've posted about - is a partisan issue

While I don't think it's in any way related to Epstein, I think it will no doubt be used to distract and deflect from Epstein. The Sentae last night voted against releasing Epstein files, 51-49, and nobody is going to be talking about that for the next few days.

In 50 years people will deny ever mourning his death, same way theyll be denying they ever supported Israel. History repeats itself.

Make America great again has turned into another dark day for America-

I see Bibi has paid tribute to Kirk. He mentioned he had recently invited him to Israel.

We don’t even know the motive behind this current shooting.

Or who the shooter even was.

ai is great. Charlie Kirk’s criticism of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 stemmed from his belief that it created a permanent bureaucracy that he saw as harmful to American society. Here's a breakdown of his key objections:

Kirk argued that the Civil Rights Act led to the creation of a “permanent DEI-type bureaucracy”—referring to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives—which he believed entrenched racial identity politics in government and corporate structures.

“The Civil Rights Act created a beast, and that beast has now turned into an anti-white weapon.”
He claimed that this legislation laid the groundwork for what he described as “unapologetic, ferocious anti-white racism”, which he believed was pushing young white Americans toward radical political ideologies.

Kirk viewed the Civil Rights Act as a turning point that enabled what he called “Marxist” or “woke” ideologies to infiltrate institutions. He believed it undermined meritocracy and promoted racial division rather than unity.

Kirk was an internationally known political figure closely aligned with the Trump administration that did incredibly successful work in getting younger generations interested in the Republican party and politics.

He was assassinated while hosting a politically themed event.

You don't have to have liked him, his beliefs, or the beliefs of the Republican Party, to understand drawing parallels between Charlie Kirk and Mr. Beast is being disingenuous.

All of this is deranged nonsense though. Very obviously so.

Probably because they aren't overly interested in American politics, only people obsessed with American politics and Trump post here constantly.

Also it was headline news last night, I'll be honest I never knew there were any democratic elected representatives shot (which is obviously disgraceful), it didn't seem to make the headlines worldwide like this did.

The real scumbags in America are the right wing nuts like Trump and dare say it Kirk who are/were manufacturing disharmony and conflict for their own political advantage. Calling in the National Guard to cities when there is no reason to, posting hate tweets on Social Media about your political opponents, stirring the $hit after a high profile murder like George Floyds murder, Saying collateral damage is ok to protect the Second Amendment, organized insurrection on the capital if an election doesn't go your way. Etc. ad nauseum.

Fox News was a blubber fest of cry babies in mourning for their hero last night. Vomit inducing.

What about the kids who were mowed down in recent mass shootings? Cry for them instead please.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 574 ✭✭✭Seattle

    It doesn't matter a jot.

Anyone involved in politics would've known well who Charlie Kirk was (unless they were living under a rock) and it'd be extremely odd not to offer condolences, especially if you have direct international relations with the US.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,787 ✭✭✭rogber

A lot of rumours that Trump organised the killing to distract from Epstein.

    Plausible theory?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,959 ✭✭✭✭Boggles

Kirk was an internationally known political figure

Like I said, I have never heard of him, he has been described by every single report I read this morning as a social media influencer. He has never been a politician.

The Prime Minister of Britain or an other world leader should not be using their office to rush out a tribute to him. He was nobody of note outside grifting far right circles online and fox news. That's before we even get into the absolute hate he used his platform for.

It was done solely to receive pat on the head points from Trump. It's beyond nauseating.

Just like the earth is flat - a lot of stupid people.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 574 ✭✭✭Seattle

    Ridiculous and completely implausible.

Kirk was a major asset for the Trump movement and was good friends with the Vice President and Trump's son. If they wanted to kill someone to distract from the Epstein stuff, it wouldn't be him and nor would it be a Trump supporter. Not that they would have the intelligence, organisation and discretion to carry out such an operation anyway. Also, as bad as Trump and his circle of people are, I don't think they would directly kill any political figure.

So he was a Covid wing nut on top of every thing else, God knows how many gullible simpletons died because of his nonsense.

Maybe it was his own God that smited him?

The backlash from these beliefs about DEI has made it so that every non-white person holding any kind of worthwhile job is open to getting those three letters whispered about them in a very open dog-whistle. The implication being that they must have gotten the job via some sort of diversity initiative and not their merit, and if employment practices were entirely merit-based, white-people would have just about every job worth having, leaving the non-whites to the low-skill, low-IQ stuff.
