There are parallels to Hitler's order that 100 Italians should be killed for every German soldier killed in occupied Italy in 1944.

Presumably, as a consistent upholder of Justice, Israel will demolish the homes of all the IDF soldiers who anally raped the Palestinian prisoner with an iron bar. And all the families, extended families and drinking buddies.

Oh wait, no, those soldiers got a free pass.

In fairness, if they didn't have double standards, Israel itself would be a wasteland. And the houses of War Criminals would be long gone. But no, its a sanction that only applies to Palestinians.

How about the Israelis just leave the west bank and Gaza strip.

the sanctions on Smotrich and Ben-Givir include travel to the country, actively engaged in the management of a company and it is also illegal for someone to make funds available for the benefit of those people, so I would imagine these sanctions are similar.

That drone attack on the boat looks like a flare of some kind rather than an explosive missile strike……A warning shot across the bow perhaps…….Some balls on whoever done it….and fair play to all on those flotilla regardless of anyone's dislike for Greta Thunberg…..There's a lot more people than just her…What will they acheive?F all i think in terms of food/help Etc and they know this…..This is PR-Isreal is losing the PR war…Sadly this will get more attention than the people starving day in day out in Gaza but its the sad sad world we live in now…..

I have no idea what sort of societal reintegration program Israelis could undertake to become part of the civilized world in the future. I genuinely don't. Who in the right mind would want to live beside someone who believes genocide is a worthy endeavor.

I mean you could consider an Alex DeLarge type exposure to uber violence but you'd only be showing them their own tiktok feeds and they seem to genuinely get off on that.

Few lads on here could probably part-take as well tbf…

If true, shows Bibi will do anything to prevent peace and stay in power

There are some more pictures here from the BBC and Reuters showing the strikes on Hamas HQ in Doha.

Sky News has quoted Israeli media reports saying that US President Donald Trump gave Bibi the green light to target Hamas HQ in Doha.

Is it anywhere near the airport?, I'm getting a flight from there next week.

Within 30 seconds of hearing this news, my first thought was this was done by Netanyahu to literally blow up the ceasefire talks and to stop any ceasefire in Gaza from taking place.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,512 ✭✭✭✭Strazdas

Slight correction : Hamas doesn't have a 'HQ' in Doha. The regime bombed a residential place in the city where they believed Hamas leaders to be present, which is not quite the same thing. They do have form of course for these type of bomb attacks and large scale assassinations.

Some countries cannot have peace at any cost can they ? They are finished if they do. Qatar, Iran, Russian nuclear plane attack all carried out before talks were due to take place. Just in the last few months.

Some coincidence, love to see who condemns this latest one and who does not.

More terrorism from Israel as it adds yet another sovereign nation to its bombing list.

There was talk that Hamas were about to accept the ceasefire deal. This is heading into insane territory ; imagine blowing up the other side's negotiating team during ceasefire talks. It's evident where Netanyahu is heading with all this - the "final solution" in Gaza.

We know how that **** Trump will react, but it will be interesting to hear the EU's response.

The US / Israel Doha attack failed in relation to Hamas leaders. Maybe they killed children and elderly which may satisfy their blood lust for a few minutes.

Reports US gave the green light.

Israeli Channel 12 reported, citing an Israeli official, that US President Donald Trump gave the green light for the Israeli occupation to launch airstrikes on Hamas leadership in Qatar. The channel added that Washington maintains control over Qatari airspace, requiring “Israel” to coordinate with the US before carrying out such operations.

absolute pure act of terrorism and act of war from Israel onto a sovereign state.

Qatar are no fools when it comes to strategic targeted military capability.

No doubt Trump will notch this up as another war he 'ended'. Qatar should really take back control of its own airspace from state terrorists.

Interesting thread pointing out that Israel and the US have just bombed Hamas's political wing and known negotiators who were trying to bring about a ceasefire. The level of cynicism of these two rogue states.

How will the Qatari react to this?

In 24 hours the apartheid state has bombed Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia and Qatar. Not forgetting Yemen a few day's ago.

It looks like the entire leadership was targetted.

I am surprised Donnie allowed this- or did he? Of course Bibi made no such promise to Trump about not targetting Hamas in Qatar

If we can believe the BBC, Bidi promised Biden Hamas members would not be targeted while in Qatar. This could get very awkward for Donnie if what remains of the political leadership were to relocate to Turkey. What would be the consequences if Israel then launched strikes on Hamas members in Turkey?

Israel doing what Israel does. They will set the Middle East alight and we will all pay.

Everyone, especially the US, needs to rein them in - they just cannot help themselves. From the river to the sea indeed.

I'd bet there's a lot of very nervous Israelis right now.

Deeper and deeper into Pariah status. Israel even makes North Korea look normal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,512 ✭✭✭✭Strazdas

The equivalent of this would have been the British trying to blow up Adams, McGuinness and the rest of the Army Council right in the middle of the IRA ceasefire talks.

Defenders of the Israeli regime can spin this whatever way they like, but they clearly have no interest in peace - a 'forever war' in the Middle East appears to be the plan.

I wonder did Qatar rather than cause a spat with the US allow this to happen? Or is it the case they couldn't do anything to prevent it?
