my dad found an old aerial photo of castleknock college in the local VdeP shop and bought it (because it's where my brother and I went to school). we were around at the folks today, and my nephew took a photo of it in the hope that google could help identify when it was taken. the google AI result is a little bit off.

FWIW - it was taken in 1954. the CoI church in castleknock is visible in the background at top right of the photo, and the spire is present; the spire was hit by lightning in 1957 and was too badly damaged to repair so was dismantled.

That means 91k Irish citizens live in other EU states, rather than us having 91k citizens from other EU states living here?

Yes. At least, that how I read it.

    Yes, that's right.

(Trust me. There are not 3.1 million citizens of other EU member states living in Romania.)

Don't know when that map dates from. The current map is here and is slightly less alarming — Germany, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden are no longer in "high degree of caution" territory. They still haven't got around to giving travel advice on Luxembourg, so you're on your own there!
