Those who continue to deny the crimes against humanity committed by Israel and more particularly those who attend viewing parties to watch the carnage going on in Gaza are the ones clearly wishing death on people. Most critics of Israel do not wish death on Jews - many of then are in fact jewish

As per usual you like to imply Jews have a hive mind and you confinue to conflate criticism of Israel as a mask for anti semitism in order to deflect criticism of Israel. It's pathetic you are still at this, but it shows your desperation

We see the usual double standards by you of avoiding holding Israel responsible for creating some of the problems in the middle east. It's certainly true Iran is no innocent.

However Israel clearly isn't either, as much as you continue to try and claim otherwise.

    SeanW12:07 am

"Nobody wants war" except for Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, Yemen etc.

And as for Iran supposedly having "wanted peace" … the kind of "peace" Iran wants is where they get to fund, train and direct proxy forces to attack Israel etc, but the Ayatollahs suffer no consequences because their enemies don't go to the source of the problem.

Which everyone was happy enough to do until Iran decided to enrich uranium to levels far beyond any possible civilian use.

Let's not forget that Iran is one of the main weapons suppliers to Russia in its war against the people of Ukraine.

And why on Earth would Arab countries start a war with Israel when Israel has no quarrel with most of countries in the region? On what planet would that make sense? Perhaps it's just wishful thinking on the parts of people who want to see Jews being killed?

Nice to see that, as usual, the Middle East's problems are being blamed on the 0.3% of it that's not run by an Islamic dictatorship.

In the days after October 7th the BBC reported that Bibi gave assurances to Biden that Hamas members residing in Qatar would not be touched. It's one promise he kept.

As you say supporters of Israel tend to focus on Iran but ignore Qatar's role in supporting Hamas.

Radiohead announces European concerts. Some Palestine campaigners say the band hasn't criticised Israel enough. Also criticism of them performing with Israeli artist.

Palestinians should make an inventory of their gold and other possessions that are stolen by the IDF looters and settlers. In the years to come, the inventory can be used to reclaim their stolen property and to jail the criminals.

A long lost painting looted decades ago in Nazi occupied Europe has been recovered in Argentina, officials have said.

Portrait of a Lady, by Italian master Giuseppe Ghislandi, had been missing for 80 years before it was spotted last month on an estate agent's website, where a photo showed it hanging in a house that had belonged to the daughter of a Nazi fugitive.

Patricia Kadgien's late father Friedrich had been a top adviser to Hermann Goring, Adolf Hitler's deputy, who plundered thousands of works from across Europe.

Tell me, is colonising someone elses land a peaceful action. Is displacing people and building ethnically pure settlements, with government backing, subsidies and tax breaks, a peaceful action?

Israel is a state which is explicitly religious. Cabinet members have called for the killing or displacement of non jewish people. Israel ignored nuclear treaties, developed a bomb by stealing nuclear material from the west, and refuse to disarm. They're starving 2 million people.

So, please do harp on about Iran. Iran are not good guys. We all know it. The only thing is that you'll refuse to engage on what Israel are doing and love to do whatabouttery about other countries.

So please, for the umpteenth time, could you explain how Israel settling the westbank is a good thing?

They ignore Israel's role in supporting HAMAS too.

Supporters of Israel HAVE to ignore many things, because if they actually spend any time focusing on them they might realise what despicable liars they have become.

It just goes to show how much of a nonsense this release the hostages thing is if israel are holding far more palestinians unlawfully.

No western politicians will mention this though. It's just 100% racism no one cares about arab lives.

Perhaps it's just wishful thinking on the parts of people who want to see Jews being killed?

    Still banging that drum?

It's far far more probable that your continued support of this slaughter is down to you simply wanting to see Muslims being killed.

Despite what you may think, your little baseless accusations against people opposing genocide (a pov which in itself is highly antisemetic) doesn't deflect from this probability at all.

I wouldn't say he wants then to be killed,it's more that he is just indifferent to their plight because he sees them as inferior- uncivilised and not like us.

In a previous post he tried to justify support for Smotrich and Ben Gvir on the basis of the suffering Israelis were enduring at the hands of Palestinians. He would never try to make the same justification for Palestinians supporting Hamas. Israelis going through a smidgen of the hardship Palestinians have endured is a tragedy for him,the suffering of Palestinians doesn't register- it can even be belittled or mocked as we saw with his cartoon picture a few months back. Which , if I recall correctly, he never apologised for. I thought graphene was the strongest substance known to humankind, but it transpires the neck of SeanW is even stronger!

The killing now is for the sake of ethnic cleansing which was always the goal. The Israelis enjoy the killing as well. I remember american military remarking on how the IDF just liked to kill, anyone would do. I read a report the other day where an IDF soldier killed another IDF soldier on a transport vehicle. He had pointed his rifle at him and then … the gun went off! No investigation, no removal from duties, just move on.

IDF soliders have laughed about breaking the bones of Palestnians in interviews and of killing civilians by shooting them several times in the back and then bragging they'd get away with it by claiming self defense. It's nothing new, because ex Stern and Haganah fighters have openly bragged about torturing civilians in documentaries. So it's not a surprise serving IDF members would do the same considering the IDF was created by people involved in these nationalist groups.

It’s so bizarre he would make such a bald claim. He seems to have no understanding of the difference between major influence and ‘total control’. For any other president this would be a major PR problem but it is what is tolerated now.

I was away on a wee break and I see the thread title has changed at last. I'm not reading over all the pages I missed either but the numbers of Israeli murders seems to have increased. The starving Palestine children seem to be a much easier target for the regime now.

Great to read that the experts have said that what Israel is doing is certainly Genocide too - Even the most vociferous deniers have to admit it now.

So Herzog is being sent to Britain, presumably to try and stop recognition of Palestine:

I dont see much difference between Netanyahu and Slobodan Milosevic right now in terms of ethnic cleansing and seeking a Greater Serbia/Greater Israel. Except that even he did not destroy Sarajevo to the extent Netanyahu has destroyed Gazas towns and cities. 92% of dwellings have been destroyed. Similar destruction of farmland. Clearly intent to deprived the civilians of the means to live. Echoes of Oliver Cromwell and "to hell or to Connaught"

Anti-regime Israelis point out that people are brought up to hate Palestinians and Arabs and to regard them as subhuman. It may well be the most racist and bigoted country in the developed world.

Don't forget Belalel Smotrich the Israeli Finance Minister who wears a permanent "Cheshire Cat" smirk is always reminding us that the whole region is intended for Jews well, since Biblical times.

Even after everything that gets posted here and other avenues for excuses for all of this I don't know how anyone could read this and only respond with 'but Hamas' or 'they got what they deserved'

While fleeing with her family from Gaza City in January 2024, the car Rajab was traveling in was shelled, killing her uncle, aunt and three cousins. She was left stranded for hours in the vehicle while on the phone to the Palestinian Red Cross Society as paramedics attempted to rescue her. When she was eventually reached, both Rajab and the paramedics were found dead, with media investigations concluding that an Israeli tank had likely fired 335 rounds into the car. The phone recording of Rajab’s voice is used in the film.

"Likely" fired 335 rounds into a car, from a tank.

Something to remember when next you see representatives of Israel lining up for sporting or cultural events like they were a normal state.

This is the other level of cognitive dissonance that I can't get my head around. We'll constantly hear "but Iran", "but Yemen" etc. but none of these countries claim to be the only democracy in the Middle East with the most moral army in the world. I've been in both Iran and Israel and despite the formers authoritarian rulers I felt safer and more welcome there than in Israel or other countries. And before anyone decides to jump in and accuse me of hating Jews, Iran has the second largest Jewish population in the Middle East. That and I don't hate Jews, I'm not a bigot.

Israel will probably try a false flag operation to prevent more countries recognising Palestine. Israel are so obscene that they may even fire a rocket from Gaza at Tel Aviv?

It will be very interesting to see whether some countries actually follow through and recognise Palestine while others like UK, Australia, and France chicken out.

Already talk on social media of major protests in London against this creep. One wonders what the UK government were thinking in inviting such a controversial figure to the country.

More nukes for Israel! They are a threat to world peace.

I wonder why Netanyahu is not going…

UK has laid out conditions that Israel has to meet in order for the UK not to recognise the State of Palestine:

    • made sufficient progress towards addressing the humanitarian situation in Gaza FAIL
    • made sufficient progress towards reaching an agreement to secure the release of hostages and a ceasefire with Hamas FAIL
    • committed to “a long-term sustainable peace” and two-state solution. FAIL

Israel has not only failed to meet any of the conditions, it has actually gotten worse on all three.

I think Herzog will be handed his ar*e

"Likely" fired 335 rounds into a car, from a tank.

    Not a "tank".

    A Merkava Battle Tank.

    Weighing 65 tonnes

    With a crew of four.

    Against a defenceless terrified girl.

They shredded her and the two medics trying to save her.

IDF - war criminals and cowards.

    9th circle of Hell awaits.
