This guy honestly sounded like he went in with an attitude from the off and they weren't interested in dealing with him.

Ah pharmacies lets get to the nitty gritty. Solpadine around 15 euro for 24 tabs. pennies for paracetamol up north .Knew a guy who worked for a pharma comp. in Ireland. They priced their product at not what would be a decent markup but what the market would take .

This is by far the lowest fcukkery Lahlive have ever produced.

Straight from the Drivetime 1655 and 1755 slots but even more excruciating.

Come back Yew Ormonde from the Stygian depths of retirement and deliver

us from Monaghans rubbish and the laughing hyenas facilitating this pure crud.

She’s circling the dhrain lads and it’s sinking fast.

I listen to the show because it usually shortens the afternoons at work. Cormac has been painful, today being complete shite

Dont fully agree there……what’s needed is a presenter with unknown or semi unknown credentials.

Someone who has no reputation to protect from a work perspective and is not afraid to confront.

Need behind the glass folk with cahunas whose idea is of excitement is not waiting to see who won the meat raffle in the pub or phoning in to tell Cormac which leg they put in their trousers first.

Liveline is actually a symbol of the state of our democracy. Plenty of juicy stuff talked about on social media, that RTÉ simply wont touch unless they can guarantee whats aired/control the narrative.

And since that's impossible on a live call in show, they put a neutered lickspittle in charge of it that won't dare rock the boat.

Seriously we had a show about fuckíng cat calling this week with an FFG plant and there was zero pushback from the host.

    Who's the host on Monday?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 230 ✭✭AJB39

Judging by the presenter image on the RTÉ Radio Player schedule it’ll be Colm O’Mongáin.

I was recently on holiday for a few days and decided to go up North

I have my own opinions about the situation up there but I listened to the Stephen Nolan show for about half an hour to 40 mins

And not 1 (one) ad played

Switched onto Claire Byrne after coming down again and within the first 15 minutes there was 3 ad breaks

The constant ads and jingles just gets really annoying

Or somebody's feelings got hurt by comments, and they sent a message suggesting that they might want to sue ;)

Remember when assaulted Brendan went to Talk to Joe 28th February? Well now there is a flying wall..

"So basically, a very nice old woman ploughed into the front of my house tonight. Smashed the wall, the wall flew across the street, smashed into my car, smashed into the house, has done unbelievable damage." https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/unbelievable-damage-to-brendan-courtneys-new-home-after-car-ploughs-through-front-wall/a1977464963.html

Indeed, but drivetime is the same, murder torture, hemorrhaging economy then onto ads for boutique Italian holidays.

now I was informed today that the BBC never used ads on radio, due to being publicly funded, I only listened to it for the Stephen Nolan show but I'm sure if they wanted they could use ads, and probably do at some stage of the programming

But rte is too publicly funded, through the TV license of course and probably God knows how many underhands and over the table bail outs by the governments q

Brendan needs to move to an island (not Joe's COVID free island) in the middle of nowhere. One without a transmitter would be a bonus.

The BBC is fully funded by the license fee and aren't allowed to have advertising on any of their services.

    Today, Colm…

Traitors last night, contestants were asked how they would use the €50k prize money if they won, most said for a deposit on a house. What would you spend the money on?

Puctures being taken of the contents your bins when unloading in to bin truck, Panda and now implementing this.

Should GAA managers be getting a fixed €20k salary to make things more transparent.

School lunches stopped in some schools today as those handling the food need to be 'food handling complient.'
