this day 16 weeks its back on our FM airwaves!!

c. 12 weeks (1st Nov) until they start online broadcass with DJ's/presenters, assuming that trend continues of course.

WFH today & went to stick on classical and the entire Christmas FM site appears to be down. Wonder if its a glitch or if they're working on it!!?

14 weeks today…. back on air!!

& most likely nearly 4 weeks before then online!

Christmas FM back online from Nov.1st & have updated their website today to announce a repeat of the 3 year charity partner arrangement from 2022-2024.

We are delighted to announce our pledge to continue our fundraising appeal, The Magic of Christmas. Thanks to the kind donations made by the wonderful Christmas FM listeners, the initiative successfully reached its fundraising target of raising €1,000,000 between 2022 and 2024 for charity partners Barnardos, Barretstown, Make-A-Wish Ireland and a range of children’s charities across Ireland making a difference in local communities through Community Foundation Ireland. The Magic of Christmas appeal is now continuing with the same children’s charity partners, and aims to raise over €1,000,000 in the next three years (2025-2027). 

The funds raised will help vulnerable children in our communities who are living with the impact of poverty, abuse, neglect, or bereavement, and will also support children whose lives are affected by serious illness. By giving to The Magic of Christmas, you’ll be making a real difference – bringing hope, care, and vital support to those who need it most.

Since we began broadcasting 18 years ago, Christmas FM has raised over €4 million for a range of charities. By continuing The Magic of Christmas appeal, we aim to build on this fundraising success and continue raising awareness of its charity partners’ vital work.

6 weeks today to lift off, really looking forward to it now.

When I changed car a few weeks back i actually had trouble creating a 'favourite' for 105.2 as it was pure static at the time ( it kept deleting it for some reason & I had to save it every time I used the car) Hopefully all will come good on 28th November when the radio will be set pretty much all the time to 105.2!!
