Has anyone got any experience with FIRE.com. They are an Irish financial services company house rather than a bank so would most likely suit a venture of mine, but they don’t respond to either their own online form or emails.

Do they actually exist and are they worth the effort in pursuing them rather than WISE / REVOLUT?

@con747, ouch, i was hoping to support an Irish company with an Irish IBAN, but they sound a lot worse than REVOLUT.

Not quite clear what you're looking for, if you're looking for an accountant for a business then check out Icon or Fenero or the like

If you want an Irish owned bank then you're basically down to Bank of Ireland or AIB

@the_amazing_raisin thanks, will look them up.

Wanted a nice easy bank to sign up to without having to visit them,

WISE just set up an account for me in 2 days.

REVOLUT cold called me the day after I registered my website, but too many fear stories about them for me to be willing to give them a business account.

FIRE.COM have demonstrated their desire not to have customers.

I haven't dealt with Revolut Pro, but unless you registered your number and requested a callback then I would be very suspicious of any calls claiming to be from them

I use Revolut for my day to day banking and they're very good for that

I've used Wise as well and again they're quite good for personal banking, not sure what they're like for business accounts

By and large the same rules apply for business banking as with personal banking, they'll never call you requesting pin codes or anything, never ask you to do a "test" transfer or something like that. Anyone who does request personal information is definitely a scammer

@the_amazing_raisin can you give me a URL for ICON, the ones I’ve found don’t appear to be right.

I used Fenero in the past so haven't dealt with Icon for accounting

To be clear, they're accountants not banks. You'll still need a company bank account
