I wonder will we get any interesting formations this year? E.g pc9s and the Aer Lingus A320, like previous years.

hmmmm we are planning on heading here on Saturday using PT (bus-S6 + DART from Blackrock station) more so for something to keep the kids entertained all day.

Where would you guys recommend in Bray for viewing this as we havent been here before? Will we see the whole show from anywhere on the sea front?

Would've been nice if the Gripen came back. That flew over my house one year and the noise was incredible!

Great to see and hear the Jet Provost arrive over the coast and head towards Baldonnel.

She is actually in Weston. Easy enough to see from the main carpark along with a few other visitors to the show

Weather looks ok for Bray tomorrow.

19 degrees with broken sunshine, wind up around 23kph, might ground some of the lighter aircraft, but should be good to go overall.

Anywhere on the seafront is grand for viewing. The Stikemaster will be the loudest there. Not supersonic but makes a reasonable enough racket.

Did you even read what you posted, relevant info is in the first sentence?

Met Éireann has issued a weather advisory for Storm Floris, which will bring wet and unseasonably windy weather on Sunday night into bank holiday Monday.

The below is a general 'signature' and not part of any post:

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Public transport user? If you're sick of phantom ghost services on the 'official' RTI sources, check bustimes.org for actual 'real' RTI, if it's on their map it actually exists.

    lovely.
Any idea what time the strikemaster will be doing a flyby?

The organisers never publish the individual display times for acts. The Only thing you can usually predict is that all the Irish Air Corps aircraft display in sequence and big draw acts like the Red Arrows are usually on last to keep the crowds there.

Obviously no Reds Arrows this year, or one item that would stand out as a highlight. If was a betting man I would say the Strikemaster will be on last, as it is the closest thing they have to a 'fast jet'.

This is my first time at Bray air show and I have to say I’m very impressed!
Lots to do here and the defence forces stand was incredible.

Despite the lack of fast jets, very much enjoyed the display. Great to see them tightening gap between acts. Only a couple of minutes between.

Whatever was on second (Mustang I think) was excellent. Really displayed very close to shore and was exciting! Also some noise off the first bi-plane, sounded louder than the Strikemaster. As per pic above, big crowds down there! Defense forces had a lot on the ground and kids queueing up to hold rocket launcher and various guns! Very underwhelmed by new coast guard plane, thought it might do more.

Nice tight formation from the Silver Swallows

Jet Pitts was very impressive, agreed with gOg, display line seemed closer than previous years.

Here's to 2026 with the hope we get some more international acts back.

Decided to pop out last minute when I saw how nice the weather was going to be. Dart was grand, got seats both in and out.

Hit the beach at about 2:45pm. Timings were spot on this year with minimal gaps that were barely perceptible.

Jet Pitts was probably my favourite, Mustang was nice and energetic also.
