What's the best number of people to go drinking with

    My favourite is 2.

Don't like drinking on my own. Unless at home.

Drinking with one other person = too intimate. I tend to not enjoy it.

Drinking with more than two other people = too much noise, too big of a round, needing to drink at the pace of the fastest person. Finishing an 4-person round is inevitably getting you up in to the serious hangover territory if you are having 8 pints...or just me maybe.

Drinking with two other people is ideal for me, good number for conversation and a bit of banter, round is the right size if you are only after a few pints or even six is manageable.

Obviously depends who you are drinking with!

    What do people think?

I’d go with three. That leaves enough options for one on one conversation while it’s small enough for everyone in the group to talk as well.

Games gone if it's three 🙁

The higher the number the better, drinking with 6 people is better than with 2 and drinking with 15 people is better than 10. The reason been is you have the option of jumping from one mini group to the other IF you want to

Two good friends and if we do rounds it's only 3 rounds, can't handle much more than 3 pints these days.

People need to stop with the round shite. All it does is get people pissed.

Have never drank with anyone as I've never had friends in my adult life

Two other people if they're really good friends, three or maximum four otherwise. Beyond that it tends to get too noisy and uncoordinated for me.

Yes this is true. Again, it's ok with a small group, but no more than four for me, or I'm under the table. Not a big drinker at the best of times, TBF. Or not any more anyway!

3 or 4 including myself. More than that tends to get messy.

For me, 2-3 people is the sweet spot. It’s small enough for good conversation without feeling too rushed or too quiet. Anything more than that, and it starts to feel like you’re just keeping up with the group rather than enjoying the night.
