think that’s what most people do. Just move it from normal location before driving down and then sort it after

On at the same time as Fat Dog though so i'm conflicted on this one.

Whoever was asking, Holmes generally plays Funk/Soul/60s Garage and Psych and some nice electronic stuff. I haven't seen him in a few years though.

    I'm a Rock n Roll Amputation

I too am wondering about the gas cannister rule in campers and whether to move it from its usual position….

    According to chatgpt (!):

    Festival Example Policies
    What they usually allow:

    • 1 butane or propane gas cylinder (usually up to 7 kg)
    • The cylinder must be:
      • Properly fitted and secure
      • In good condition (no rust, leaks, or damage)
      • Connected to an installed appliance (e.g., stove, fridge)

    Festival

    Gas Cylinder Rules

    Electric Picnic

1 cylinder max per campervan, must be secure and for cooking only

    All Together Now

Permitted if part of campervan install; unsafe setups confiscated

    Body & Soul

Similar to above; BBQs and open fire devices not allowed

I'm in the same boat. Not sure what to do but I wouldn't be too reliant on that chatgpt, the website under campervan search section says

    • Gas Cylinders are not permitted anywhere in the campsite including campervans.

Out of sight out of mind, keep it outside of the usual area hidden ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 801 ✭✭✭antfin

Well that's just completely wrong! If it's not seen then you'll be OK, but that's not the policy.

I forgot to say, you might like to include your boards name in brackets or change your name to your boards name for the weekend on WhatsApp. I see some have already, I’ll do so on Friday myself.

Gas cannisters in campervans: Take them out of the gas bottle compartment and put them inside the main campervan semi hidden, in case they do a check inside.

Last year, we drove in, zero checks for gas or cans, parked up. It was about 30mins later that someone came around, asked to check the gas bottle compartment, then after seeing it was empty, they put a sticker on the door of the bottle compartment saying "Checked" or something like that.

Don't put the gas bottle back into the compartment until you're certain its been checked, or at least for a couple of hours.

The Info hut between One For The Road and This Must Be The Place is where they scan your ticket and give you your wristband. They close at 10pm:

RE gas canisters, been 3 times, never had any problems with them staying in place and hooked up.

    ”Do you have any gas”

    ”no”

”Ok” <puts checked sticker on campervan>

I got a marshy spot last year and was eventually enveloped by others. The trees did look like a good job alright.

As a first time Thursday entrant, I presume you pretty much have your pick of the place (more or less)?

Are portable speakers banned? Want to play my 2 Johnnie's mega mix all weekend

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 476 ✭✭TenPicnics

Would love to see them back in their natural ATN home, but last year they seemed to have taken up residence in a tree in Waterford city - spotted them watching me as I had a coffee en route to the train station going home on the Monday. BRING BACK THE GOOGLY EYES!!!

Hi all need some help , my physical campervan ticket hasn't been delivered yet and we've 1 day to sort it out , we ordered it to be delivered via courier like EP campervan tix, is there anyway of converting from physical to e-ticket? What's the best way to engage with Ticketmaster for something like this ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,742 ✭✭✭Boooourns

Yeah grand, that was my take from it, you can just leave at anytime. Now just to find out the gate exit number...

yeah the booze limit and lack of glass is the only thing they care about so they will check for those.

Yeah there is police dogs about

Might sound stupid but I'm assuming the Boutique Entrance beside the carpark has wristband exchange etc there and I don't need to walk to General Entrance lol. Assume it does but the campervan area talk has me doubting now!

Also would love to know how thorough the search is at Boutique, arriving around 7-9pm tomorrow I'd say

I can’t remember who but some kind soul here had added some pics of the site. I assume they were local enough. Wondering can we get a weather update. As currently I’m sat looking at rain pelting it down in Wicklow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,325 ✭✭✭blaa85

It's been lightly raining down here in Waterford for the last hour. Of course it starts the minute I've set up the new tent for a "dry" run.

    Yes, it does.

I have arrived the Friday morning, around 11, the last few years and the search was minimal enough. It always depends who you get. You could be lucky or unlucky.
