This is f*cking terrifying, the main reason I take it easy on the road.

A few seconds like that can have such devastating consequences for the rest of your life.

Anytime I'm in the car I'm grateful I don't have to be there daily or for long commutes.

Any one any idea when this is repeated? Unfortunately my sky box failed me last night.

Watched the first few minutes on the player. Looked like it was going to be an hour long RSA ad.

I don't drive anymore so not really for me. Will it make people think, maybe for a while but it will soon wear off, unfortunately.

Time to put childish things aside.

It was heartbreaking at the end when the family met two of the first responders, who had assisted them at the scene of the accident. That young girl crying nearly had me in tears too. But I felt that her meeting with them, and talking through the incident will maybe help give her some acceptance about the whole tragic event, and the legacy of what happened to her family that day.

A tough watch but hopefully it will stop speeding, drug and drunk drivers

No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change this World

    A harrowing watch.

It should be shown to all “learner drivers” as part of their training.

The sort of people who go out and drive cars at speed while full of coke and alcohol are unfortunately not the sort to sit down and watch documentaries and think "Hmmmm, I really must not do that, time for a change of lifestyle".

It will make not a jot of difference.

Watched it on the RTE player last night….a harrowing watch to say the least. How people's lives can be changed in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately, it won't stop the speed merchants fuelled up with booze and cocaine from getting behind the wheel……just have a look at your local newspaper every week with numerous court cases for drug driving, drink driving, speeding and reckless driving…

A tough watch and an emotional end when the family met the emergency workers.

The mother of Michael Tobin looks broken with grief.

I wish they would stop referring to the crash as an "accident", considering the driver of the Golf was out of his head it was far from an accident.

What I can't get over is, it was 9 or 10 in the morning.

You'd associate those "spins" more with evening/night time.

I'd say they were still going from the night(s) before.

I was disappointed to see a memorial to Dixon was put up on the side of the road after the carnage he caused while coked off his head.

That professor of Biomechanics is not much of a professor if he doesn't know Newton's Third Law of Motion "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." when he said the combined impact speed was 160 km/h if both cars are doing the rural speed limit.

That Mary Bermingham is one beautiful woman.
