    Well at least we won the "only team to beat the All Ireland champions" trophy!

    Honestly thought Donegal over celebrated the big semi final win. We were ravaged by injuries and were down to our 4th and 5th choice midfielders a third of the way through the game yet Donegal didn't really pull away til early in the second half. Well deserved from Kerry. From early on, Donegal never looked like they were going to trouble them.

    Kerry by far the best team.

    The passiveness of Donegal was a mystery. No urgency to create 2 pointer opportunities or failing that goal chances. Seems the hype got to them.

    I'll be honest, I've no special interest in football and would much rather the hurling (despite my own county being rubbish at it). That was my first and last watch of the year. It's still just as boring as ever. They can change all the rules they want. It's a poor excuse for a game these days.

    Donegal were incredibly wasteful in the second half

    Also for a supposed avant garde coach of the game McGuinness doesn't seem to have adjusted well to the 2 point rule.

    Donegal were hopeless defending it in the first half, just defended inside the 2 point arc (like the old days) and let Kerry pop off shots under little pressure from outside the arc.Also they clearly didn't think having good 2 point shooters in their team was important as apart from Murphy none of their players look capable of kicking one and that didn't even set up some opportunities for Murphy to come outside and try some 2 pointers (like Kerry did for David Clifford)
