    I hope @Trigger and @Kolido haven't skipped leg day because their backs are going to be sore this evening from the piggybacks they're providing…

    If they don't do well there could be a massacre later on.

    Whilst I'm prepping the reveal let's introduce the third game…

    Untitled Image

    In Boards Squid Game however… we're doing it slightly differently. Those of you (if any) who survive will play

    Tug of Wits

    Untitled Image

    Tug of Wits is another team game, but you still play it solo.

    Those on the same team will answer a set of ten multiple choice questions again. This time however, your answers go towards the team average.

    The team with the lowest average will be ELIMINATED.

    A reminder of our remaining players and their teams:

    Team Circle:

    Captain @davetherave

    @Irish Aris

    @Sephiroth_dude

    @miamee

    Their category was Pop Culture Trivia.

    Team Triangle:

    Captain @Kolido

    @Trigger

    @Gru

    @JP Liz V1

    Their category was General Knowledge

    Team Star

    Captain @Ectoplasm

    @Electric Nitwit

    @extra-ordinary_

    @wrestlemaniac

    Their category was a popular one, Celebrity Gossip

    Team Umbrella (ella, ella, eh)

    Captain @lorcand1990

    @Mollyb60

    @Nothing surprises me now

    @rainbowtrout

    @StrawbsM

    @cee_jay (a late addition after a Necro boo boo)

    And their category was Pop & Rock Music Trivia

    So, who piggybacked on whom?

    Untitled Image

    I can exclusively reveal that:

    @Electric Nitwit @Mollyb60 @StrawbsM @wrestlemaniac and @cee_jay all chose to piggyback on @Kolido - a massacre in the making if Kolido does not get seven questions right in his category…

    AND

    @lorcand1990 and @Nothing surprises me now chose to piggyback on @Trigger - who is a team-mate of Kolido so faced the same questions as his captain.

    Which means… in the Triangle category 11 people's fates are at risk.

    So, naturally - that will be revealed last.

    Untitled Image

    Nobody else chose to piggyback and wanted to go their own way… the very best of luck to you all.

    Nobody from the circle category chose to piggyback. Confident or foolishly stubborn? Time will tell.

    Untitled Image

    In the star category @Ectoplasm has decided that if the ship is to sink, the captain will not abandon it. @extra-ordinary_ has also opted to trust themselves more than others. Let's see how this plays out.

    Untitled Image

    In fact @rainbowtrout is the only one brave enough to face the 'music' so to speak in their category.

    That category of course, is Pop & Rock Music Trivia - and it will be the FIRST category revealed tonight.

    Untitled Image

    Stay tuned!!!!

    @rainbowtrout is our first contestant through to Round 3!

    7/8 valid questions correct in the first set and 8/10 correct with the second. Well played.

    @cee_jay would have gone through off her own hard work as well as it happens - 7/10 in the second set of questions would have been enough to seal her place in round 3 however she chose to put her faith in @Kolido.. therefore her fate is still undetermined.

    @StrawbsM @Nothing surprises me now @lorcand1990 all made wise choices as had they trusted their own answers, they'd be eliminated. But they survive, for now at least… until we learn of the Triangle category…

    Our audience member @PogoRach only got 4/10 so would also have failed if they were playing. But they're not, so it matters not.

    So how did they do?

    @extra-ordinary_ did fine given the category (I'd have been screwed with this set myself) but ultimately came up short with only 4/10. Which means…

    Untitled Image

    @Ectoplasm fared slightly better, only one short of actually making it through. But rules are rules, so…

    Untitled Image

    Electric Nitwit and wrestlemaniac made the right choice to switch at least with 6/10 and 4/10 respectively… but will it see them through to Round 3?

    Our audience didn't fare any better as PogoRach and Bogey both only got 4/10.

    Congrats to @StrawbsM however who would have gone through had this been her category, scoring 7/10. Her fate is still in the balance though, will her piggyback come through for her?

    Next up, we move to the

    Circle Category

    Untitled Image

    Which is of course - Pop Culture Trivia

    Nobody in this category chose to piggyback.

    Which of course means that

    @davetherave

    @Irish Aris

    @Sephiroth_dude

    and @miamee

    will all need to score at least 7/10 to pass through and join @rainbowtrout in Round 3.

    In addition to our other audience members from the last two rounds, @appledrop also chose to answer questions in this category.

    Good luck to you all!

    @Irish Aris sails through to Round 3 with 9/10 correct!

    @miamee isn't far behind though and also goes through - 8/10 correct!

    @davetherave also gets through with 7/10, the minimum requirement but that doesnt matter - all three go through to Round 3!

    Unfortunately for @Sephiroth_dude however it's the end of the line…

    Untitled Image

    Only 5/10 scored, so Seph exits. Not enough cat questions perhaps 😂

    Our audience also did very well here, @appledrop got all 10 answers correct, @PogoRach got 8/10 and @StrawbsM and @Bogey Lowenstein got 7/10.

    And now we move on to Triangle….

    And so…

    @Kolido scores big meaning faith in him was well placed - 9 out of 10 correct! That means that himself and his 5 piggybackers go through.

    @Trigger also came up trumps - 8 out of 10 correct which is the same score that @Gru got! So Trigger and his piggybackers along with Gru also go through.

    @JP Liz V1 manages to make it over the line as well with 7 out of 10 correct meaning all 11 players go through in this round!!

    It's a similar tale in our audience. @Neowise and @MacDanger joined our awesome foursome to make it six participants here.

    All would have gone through. @StrawbsM @Neowise @MacDanger @appledrop @Bogey Lowenstein all scored the same as Kolido with 9 out of 10.

    @PogoRach got 7 out of 10 also to round things out.
