Silicone straps make my arm hot and itchy, the nylon one feels fine to me wet, metal straps tear hairs off me every time i move.

I got a few more nylon ones that look the same as the one that's currently on it (ye olde pacman boards emote)

I found enabling the bottom button long press to do zepp flow option to conflict with having alexa on the just press the bottom button, so i just have zepp on the top of the swipe left menu and just tap that. Would be nice if it worked, probably them both trying to get mic access at the same time.

I had to hold the top button for 10-20 seconds to force a restart a couple times before I gave up on it.

List view is nice, you can reorder the apps by either long pressing on them and carefully not hitting the little minus, or just in the phone app.

Just a slightly related observation - about "mental recovery".

For years and years, my Garmin complained about my sleep quality, and the "Recovery delayed" notification was just a daily thing. I once tried giving into the watch to tell me what level of activity I should do - and it held me back for a few days to a week with "rest days" and then said "not enough activities" to calculate my fitness plan. :D :D

So with this new Amazfit Balance, the pattern didn't surprise me. Day 2 said mental recovery in 50s, Day 3 took it down to 40s and then 30s. So I actually read the "hints" the Zepp app is providing, and decided to try changing things. I started going to bed at 11 pm (it used to be anytime between 12-1am) and stopped late night snacking and continued getting up at 7 am as normal.

Sure enough, 4or 5 good sleeps later, watch is finally happy with my mental recovery at around 73, but I really don't need the watch to tell me this because I actually feel way better during the day now!!

This bargain has paid for itself many times over now (watch itself is a steal, and then the €60 curve referral and who can put a price on better health from good sleep hygiene!!)

You can't. A lot of the practical functions on the Amazfit watches won't work with Apple.

I switched it off by changing the notifications in the zepp app

Depends on your preference but it can't profile your sleep without it.

Leave it on as it analyses your sleep, resting heart rate etc. and also use it as an alarm

Well...... my Watch got marked as delivered by an post ( Enfield DSU ) and never turned up, an post have been no real help at all. Going to start taking a photo of every package that arrives partially open from now on as the wife has also noticed that we often get packages that opened a bit but this is the first time something has gone with a delivered scan. Surely when a delivery scan takes place there is a ID who scanned it as delivered?

I have cameras all around the house, the delivery time was hours before I usually get post delivered 8:14am , my post usually comes around 11:30. No post came at all, the only movement was one van that came into the driveway and turned around and left but that was later in the day. I contacted an post and they contacted Enfield DSU - who didn't bother responding to them so basically an post told me to go to Amazon......

For some reason I couldn't change my watch for a few days but tonight I got to 100%. It seems like a minor problem but understanding how to change it could be made simple.
