When did he see the Epstein file? His first term when Epstein was arrested? One would assume law enforcement would have created a file on him prior to his arrest and stopped all work on it after his death…. again when Trump was President.

There will be people connected to both political parties on the list so I don't think either side will be willing to out the other.

Epstein was a Zionist and his father played a crucial but sneaky role in them winning the 1948 Arab war. What possible reason would he have to obtain dirt on both sides of the political spectrum bending them to their will.

Do yourselves a favour and Google about his father and the role he played.

The whole Epstein scenario has rattled Trump. The video clip where he and Epstein are making observations about women are creepy. He and Epstein were close friends for over a decade. I think they fell out over a business deal. Both Trump and Epstein are/were narcissistic men with a penchant for women very young women/girls/children.

I don't expect hoopla over Epstein to derail Trump's presidency. He has no morals, scruples or conscience. He'll brazen it out and see out his term if his health permits.

The most telling thing was during first term when maxwell trial was on and he said “I wish her well” why would anyone say that about her? Bizarre. But Donny is Teflon nothing ever stuck, that would have been the end of any other president but his cult never held him to account for it.

He loves coining stupid names for people, democrats should just always refer to him as TrumpStein from now on, it would drive him bonkers.

I think the most likely outcome is a phone call where Murdoch puts Trump in his place. The alternative would be New International's outlets running the Epstein files 24/7.

Not so sure about the whole birthday note thing - perhaps he did it, perhaps he had a secretary or his wife do the writing or whatever - but I think it's going to be hard to make it stick in court and Trump will get a victory out of it

Or he'll pressure the hell out of the Murdoch clan before the court can get into salacious details and they'll settle - handing Trump a victory that way.

It doesn't benefit Murdoch to "take down" Trump even if he can, I hope I'm wrong but the WSJ might be supporting Trump here.

Libel and slander are, actually very hard to prove in the USA. Pesky 1st amendment. A public figure like the POTUS would have an incredibly hard time proving it. The E. Jean case doesn't apply as they were litigating something that happened while they were private citizens, and when Trumpstein was the defendant. Plus he kept slandering her through the proceedings, which might've played well with the MAGAts but not with the Judge.

I doubt he sues or settles, unless the settlement is some serious extraction of goodies for Murdoch from Trump.

Edit: and, oh, what a juicy discovery phase this will have. Murdoch's team could ask for, and show, all sorts of slop.

I've seen enough episodes of Columbo to know that when the good lieutenant is sweating the perpetrator and he tries to use his influence to have the good lieutenant taken off the case that Columbo's captain tells him to go after him even harder!

I hope to it all comes out and this absolutely repugnant, failed human is taken down and finally brought to account and punished for his lifetime of abuse. I would also like to see his countless victims sue him into destitution. After finally becoming a billionaire due to his crypto scam after a life spent failing upwards, it would be fitting to see it all taken away so soon after.

Trump is the superstar of the Epstein affair, of this there is to me not a shred of doubt, but I'm hoping there are more than mere flight logs, which in themselves prove nothing. I am hoping there are several copies of video footage in existence of Trump in unrestrained action while at Epstein's multiple properties. I am also hoping that copies are forwarded to police agencies worldwide along with to all news agencies of record, ensuring that it all comes out, obviously while maintaining the dignity of the abuse survivors.

Trump is terrified because he does not know exactly what footage of him is out there - and who is in possession of it - and despite his amateur, sad efforts of trying to make this story go away, it will hopefully be the one that finally brings about his fall.

I finally watched the Ch 4 Dispatches programme on Trump and Russia this week. It’s fascinating and recommend all regular contributors here watch it.

What’s my own verdict? Given Trumps decades of interest and involvement in Russia as a source to do business with, especially given the unlimited funds that flow from there- I see Trump as a person who doesn’t question the colour or source of money - he just wants money, and lots of it.

Is he an official Russian recruit? Not necessarily - but because money and power are his key motivators, and he doesn’t have many, if any, scruples around how he obtains that wealth - he’s certainly Russia’s useful idiot - no question of that. He will want to do business with Russia simply because of the wealth he can generate from that business.

His vast business dealings with shadowy figures over decades, has certainly brought on kompromat - it’s why there are laws in place around money laundering and bribery to prevent such scenarios arising - and Trump has certainly dodged all of these laws. There may not be a “pee” tape- but there’s certainly a legal and business “pee tape” equivalent out there .

And you know what? The most beautiful thing about this whole fiasco is that Trump may well be innocent of any illegal behaviour with minors and his links with Epstein may be purely money related.

This could be Trumps “dog eating” moment - the rumour doesn’t have to be true-it just has to be believed. It’s such wonderful schadenfreude.

Murdoch prints something more outrageous than the existing allegations. Trump sues for €20B. That impending court case becomes the focus of the story for a few months. Murdoch retracts and settles for an undisclosed amount before trial (close to zero dollars but Trump refers to a massive unprecedented settlement). All the other existing (and possibly true) allegations are now tainted as being similar to the same proven lie.

I mean it’s possible-I wouldn’t rule it out- but it doesn’t make the other story on the release of the files go away - in fact people will be even more interested in just what is in these files, simply because of the lawsuit case
