    Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone is familiar with the process here

I've been on a Form 11 self assessment for the past 2 years because I was self employed

I'm hoping to go back to being an employee in my next role so would be on PAYE income

Does anyone know if I'll automatically be switched to a Form 12 for the relevant tax year or do I need to apply somewhere?

Obviously I would still be on Form 11 for the year I get the job but for subsequent years it would be easier to be on Form 12

You would need to deregister from Income Tax to get rid of the Form 11 filing requirement, otherwise it will continue to be required every year

On ROS there will be a section for ‘tax registrations’, you select Income Tax and you deregister yourself from this tax heading to get rid of the filing requirement
