ESB networks export discrepancy May/June

    Hi folks,

I seem to have a major difference in my actual export from around the 12th May onwards with ESB networks on their site. It looks like they were 'estimating' export at something like 4 kwh per day versus the nearly 40 i would have been exporting. I can see all the day in my solar apps/myenergi account. I phoned energia (my supplier) to query it and they said I'd probably need to take it up with esb networks. Anyone ever have an issue like this and will esb networks rectify data their end with your own data sources? I don't mind so much about the data but Im probably down about 200 euro microgen credit for may/june so would be nice to get that sorted. It looks like it might be back on track now looking at the networks site.

    Cheers,

    Mick

What meter do you have? Assume Smart, it's cumulative so logic would say there is a "catchup" balance to bring you in line with total cumulative amount

Yeah it's a smart meter, it was actually replaced early June so it looks like it wiped out a month's worth of data.

Logic =/= esbn though! If there isn't a communication on the day between home base and the meter, it gives deemed export for that day. They do not use the cumulative export register on the meter.
