    Yes, starting Friday. 0 for guess in 1, then no of lines to 6, after that its an 8 if you go out. As seen in my today score. We are all playing hard mode, as shown by the asterisk.

    Thanks! I took it off hard mode a few weeks ago after 'one of those words'. I thought at the time (and still do) that hard mode can often lead pot luck guessing. Does that exclude me from taking part in this thread?

    No one is actually 'running' this forum, it acts by casual concensus, which works pretty well, so I am just throwing in my 2 cents worth on my own behalf.

    A couple of people wanted to do easy mode and it was suggested they just start another thread - call it Wordle easy mode maybe - but I don't think they did anything about it. You could just start another thread and post in it and I reckon you would get some takers.

    Otherwise I personally have no problem with you (or anyone) posting in this forum, the 'easy' mode asterisk could show in your results, but its up to other players whether they want this.
