    disappointing second half

    Agree completely.

Killian Spillane for some reason never plays well when he starts, an impact sub

Somewhat but the rules have largely dealt with swarm defences and are rewarding kick passing and favouring the best forwards. Thats good enough for me.

Strange Burns wasn't brought on earlier. Was excellent when he came in v Armagh. Thought he might get from 50 minutes

Same. We have seen superb forward performances from some of the best players in the game all year.

Tyrone no score from 42nd to 64th minute

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,867 ✭✭✭irishguitarlad

Harsh yellow there. Tyrone player was already falling down.

Mayo beat Tyrone with relative ease so this is no real surprise

I'd expect kerry to win a few more if they win this year. Could be looking at a Dublin dominance again or kerry naughties. Making there of a great team.

Kerry defence are that nice borderline between fouling at times. But generally paint a legal picture. That's the way you want your backs.

Killian was the star minor around 2014 before DC.

I don't think, if they get through, Donegal will live with Kerry. Michael Murphy will be tied down. Kerry look like their on a mission, and the main man is in form. McGuinness will have a plan but O'Connor is seriously good and experienced for Kerry.

Kerry will take Donegal. Meath will be battered back into submission for a few years tomorrow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Westernview

I'd agree with all of that. Donegal too dependent on an aging Murphy.

Tyrone one 2 pointer. We were saying if Limerick could have kicked some. But Tyrone are a division 1 team.

There are no Stephen O'Neills, Peter Canavan, Dooher, Mulligans.

Donegal will ease past Meath tomorrow. Kerry will ease past Donegal in 2 weeks time.

Scoreline flattering to Tyrone. Kerry must have left 15 points behind them.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Kerry could be going for 5 in a row this year... 2021 covid semi final derailed them.. won 2022..lost final 2023 I'm convinced we'd have won if it was a dry sunny day... gifted Armagh last year semi final with the concession of silly goal...

Kerry play very well in conditions like today... kerry are rubbish in the rain though...

But unfortunately not being to play in the rain and giving up silly goals doesn't win you all irelands hence why we have to settle for hopefully yet another 1 in a row..!!

FT Kerry 1-20 Tyrone 0-17. Routine win for Kerry, Tyrone faded badly from the 42nd minute.

In the words of John B Keane, Joe O'Connor is a thundering hoor!

Graham O'Sullivan covered a fair bit of ground there. Decent pla

Running after Joe in midfield all day, even if you were 25 again, that would be some day's work in that heat.

How is Sean cavanagh an actual pundit? He's embarrassing. Himself and O se who I like are a shocking

The Meath game coming in the group, not being knockout, looking like a blessing.

I compared RTE having pitch side analysists to Sky earlier. They are also similar in going for big names over insightful contributers. As a mayo man I'd argue that Colm Boyle is a far superior analyst to Keegan but Keegan has the big profile.

I try my best to forget that score! Had great view of it from the terrace, beside the other goalmouth.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

I try to forget the 97 one. It was a belter from under the hogan stand into the hill.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,090 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

The first half was only a game because Kerry kept wasting chances. Second half was more reflective of the true gap.

Jayus, imagine I end up having to shout for Meath in an AI final…

    Doesn’t bear thinking about!

    I feel sick!

Terrible referring. A 2 pointer there would have been big for Tyrone. Morgan not at least going for the resulting free was equally baffling.

Can we make it a bannable offence to downplay Dublin but especially Kerry's chances going forward? The two of them have 70 all Ireland's between them. Or better yet a criminal offence.

Kerry in croke park are always a problem. Is 2001 the last time they took a pasting there?

Glad to see o'connor didn't take the bait about past criticism in that interview. RTE looking for a soundbite.
