What happened to the Development Specialist Role with Irishaid (Equivalent to Third Secretary)

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about the role of Development Specialist with Irish Aid which they advertised for in 2023. It is at the same level of third secretary but obviously is more focused and would be based out of an IrishAid post.

I didn't apply for it in 2023 because I didn't think that I was qualified enough but since then I've gained a lot of experience, including getting a masters in the field.

I the competition would open every two years like Third Secretary but I haven't seen anything to do with it now. I'd love to know if anyone knows anything about it.
