    Warmer this morning in sunshine here in Tralee, cloudy for the most part now with a few slivers of blue now and again, feeling that bit cooler under the dull cloud aided by the breeze, but it's dry so not too bad.

    Cork seems to have started its own heatwave earlier than most, over the last few days my station south of Cork city has read:

    Sat - 25.9C

    Sun - 19.5C

    Mon - 22.2C

    Tues - 26.7C

    Mostly clear sky southeast of a line from Dundalk to Killarney, partly to mostly cloudy elsewhere. The cloudier areas should see this continue to break and lift, however that thicker band straddling the coast from Belmullet down to Tralee might be harder for the sun to shift.

    Midday temperatures in the sun are decent enough - 19c to 22c. These values will rise into the afternoon.

    Beautiful day in Greystones, but temparture pegged a little (right by the sea) with onshore/sea breeze. Up and down between 17c and 19c.

    Sea fog just offshore (like 50 metres) now in Greystones. 16.5c atm. High of 20.2c today (so far). In these set ups still time for higher temp when sea breeze dies off and land breeze kicks in.

    Sea breezes creating convergence zones just inland where fairweather clouds are popping up in a pattern - well pronounced in the south of England, but also across parts of Ireland - Wicklow to Wexford, West Cork and Clare.

    Sea fog dissapated earlier in Greystones too. Clear/sunny, but with sea breeze only 18.0c atm. Was in Dublin and 25c/26c all the way back in the car….until coming over the hill down to Greystones! 🙄😆
