    Are there any things you do that make you feel like you are treating yourself or being fancy even though it's the tiniest thing in the world?

    I have a smoothie most mornings for my breakfast but instead of drinking it straight from the blender mug, I use a fancy glass for it 😁

    Using one of my Granny's (1910-2004) teaspoons for my coffees.

    Also, preparing myself breakfast, putting it on a tray and bringing it back to bed with me.

    Breakfast in bed is a good one, I feel the same with a cup of tea in bed!

    Breakfast / lunch outside with a tablecloth and fancy crockery with a proper jug for the milk 🤗on a sunny day of course !

    La Bougie candles. I have always hated scented candles until a friend introduced me to these and they're absolutely gorgeous. Really subtle and absolutely zero synthetic undertones. I don't light them very often, but I love the sense of, I dunno, being an adult or something that they give me. The Tuscan Bergamot one is divine.

    I love the smell of Bergamot (actually typing/saying the word makes me feel fancy!)

    I made myself butter and strawberry jam sandwiches with fresh homemade bread, but I cut them with a cookie cutter, too so they had a lovely shape. I ate the crusts, first, I hate wasting food, but that left me with a plate of 'flowers'. Earl Grey tea, and voilà, high tea (well, kind of).

    This one is silly but I love flipping out the recliner in my parent's house to put my feet up. Used to have a recliner sofa which I loved in our last home but it stayed there when we moved. It was a mistake not to buy another one for the new house but now I feel fancy and luxurious in my mother's recliner armchair 😄
