Kerry toying with armagh. Knew this would happen.

At times he has unusual pronouncement but he's still no 1 for me. Maloney recently has started trying to crack irritating half jokes that rarely seem to come off. But I'd have him as a solid No2. Marty is still back in 1995 which suits middle Ireland viewers.

Armagh doing some crazy stuff. Instead of working their way in to the game they've been firing midfielders in to FF and lumping in ball.

This could get away from them quick unless they get back to basics.

They need to bring in a rule where countries with colour similarities have to change jerseys.

Too many times we’ve had to witness Mayo vs Kerry both wearing predominantly Green. Or a few years ago where Derry wearing red played against Armagh wearing orange. You couldn’t make out who was who on telly.

Soccer isn’t the only sport to adopt a common sense approach. Rugby do the same. The GAA should enforce it too.

Not sure how true it is but apparently a couple of Armagh players are colour blind and green/orange are very similar for colour blind people.

Agreed. Armaghs 1st strip would be a better contrast with Kerry than black. Why the change?

Is the humidity or conditions affecting the pitch in Croke Park today? So many balls are being spilled after a hop and players are slipping underfoot every few minutes. I'd expect it's a bit greasy from the early rain but had thought it'd dry out by now.

Tom O Sullivan gone. That's Kerry's goose cooked

Armagh are well in this. Not playing great - especially their kickouts - and only two in it.

I think they will open up in the second half and run more at the Kerry defence - which is not great.

Seanie is playing serious stuff today

Ryan is having a mare. Doesn't know what to do on each kick out

Kerry would be in bother without O'Shea

Is Mark O'Shea a brother of Seanie?

If so, Kerry could have three sets of brothers making up the sextet of forwards if Paudie features which would be unique.

    Decent first half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,800 ✭✭✭FintanMcluskey

Watching Kerry vs Armagh kick scores in the first half highlights how slow Galway were in attack earlier. This is exhibition stuff in comparison

Kerry will be fairly happy at HT. Close game. Sean Ó Se playing exceptionally well. They'll be in shooting goals in second 35. And they have a geaney and Clifford to come in.

Armagh coul dhave played better - but they lead anyway.

Kerry in a bit of trouble - especially as they only seem to have 1 real scorer on the pitch and it wasn't Clifford.

Good stuff alright. I was thinking Armagh have gone oddly quiet. They then got a point and the Grugan goal. Few nice scores from Seanie for Kerry after. But yet Armagh nick the lead after the hooter.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

The last 20 mins of that first match was a great watch after a fairly boring first 50. Meath probably just about deserved it but Galway will have regrets.

Decent 1st half in this 2nd game, Armagh looking good but if Paudie can get on for the last 25, kerry could have a say yet

Armagh fans outnumbering Kerry by a good bit.

I fancy Armagh to shade it. They have a little more in them.

Kerry's injuries not helping them. But they're Kerry and can bury you in a few minutes. Armagh need to tighten down SOS, he's outstanding.

Problem is the Geaney brother is Paul, who should have been put out to pasture in about 2019.

everyone is saying Armagh are the number one team says O’Shea with disdain (rte)… well they are all lreland champions buddy

Simple point for Armagh, Kerry won't want to allow them to widen the gap too much.

If Clifford doesn't start scoring its going to be difficult for Kerry to win this
