Trump being played like a fiddle by Israel and yet people are hailing this as a "major foreign policy success". Jesus wept.

I'd wager that over 12 years of Trumpism the cohort of MAGA that held any remnant of independent thought has been eroded to insignificance. It's no longer a movement with a certain set of common beliefs and orthodoxies that Trump heads, it's now the cult of Trump: whatever he does, whatever he says. If he changes his mind on any subject, contradicts something he proclaimed a year or a month ago, the the majority will just pivot to follow him, using the most bizarre mental gymnastics as required. "The Leader knows best, who are we to question him".The dissidents will grumble and keep their mouth shut. Only a tiny minority will rebel. I may be wrong, but I doubt it.

To me that's not speechless because of a lack of intelligence, it's control over being frustrated by someone being purposely obtuse in order to defend the indefensible. Better than your dear lord, the Orange Toddler, who would just throw a tantrum.

As others have commented she did not only graduate from Boston summa cum laude, it was a double major. Economics and International Relations, ironically, 2 things that the Orange Toddler has demonstrated complete ignorance of many times over.

She also competed in, and came second in her section, in the International Science Fair when she was 18. That is no mean feat. Each year about 7m participate for a chance to become one of the 1800 odd finalists. That's a pretty significant achievement.

But it's pointless comparing her intelligence to The Orange Toddler's anyway, most human's are way out of his league. He'd be closer to my 3 day old smelly sock, he might win that competition.

So it seems that possibly Trumps "spectacular military success" and that "Iran's nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated" might only have set them back months, not even years

I'm shocked he got it so wrong, again

She has spoken on countless occasions with integrity and insight and isn't afraid to call out the elite and this administration. Anyone can compile a video of some mistakes. Dosent make your accusation true. Granted she wouldn't get elected as president but she's a proper politician.

The reasons she'll never get elected President have absolutely nothing to do with her Intelligence or her political abilities.

The US has been supplying Israel with weapons to kill innocents and children in Gaza. Trump and the US have plenty of blood on their hands.

    Trump is a deranged despot.

Leaked intelligence report suggests that the strikes at the weekend did not destroy Iran's ability to develop their Nuclear program.

Caroline Leavitt simultaneously said that the report was false, and confirmed that it was a true leak suggesting it is accurate.

The caps button on Trumps phone is in for a rough night.

And I would place a good bet, that the Iranians moved them when they could read his tweets out in the open, like the genius that he is!

For better or worse, I'm on Trump's side for the minute.

That's how bad it is. Him losing the last of his marbles with NothinYahoo.. is good enough for me

C'mon, even the anti Trump people (I'm mostly one) have gotta laugh at that brilliance on the lawn this morning.

The way he leaned into the reporter to emphasise his point was pure New Jersey gold.

    Totally unhinged

"AOC should be forced to take the Cognitive Test that I just completed at Walter Reed Medical Center, as part of my Physical. As the Doctor in charge said, “President Trump ACED it,” meaning, I got every answer right"

Laugh all you want, but not everyone can remember 5 words in a row, like "Person woman man camera tv", having heard them once!

Say what you want about Trump. He can be pure tv comedy gold. A lot more entertaining than the previous incumbent.

He is so fuking proud of passing that dementia test. He seems to think it proves he is very intelligent and not just base line not suffering from dementia.

It was a sign of a man that is cracking under the pressure. He is not man that usually uses that word so it is clearly not something he usually does and is a sign of a man running out of ideas and completely exasperated with the whole thing.

It is completely unacceptable language but because everyone knows Trump hasn't a Scrooby what he is doing it is laughed off.

I see he's the odds on favourite. That "****" outburst if genuine was pretty inspirational as both sides were breaking his ceasefire which he brazenly announced publicly on Twitter.

Now personally I don't think it's genuine and he's feeling the pressure of his other puppet master Putin as he's been pushing the Israeli agenda at the expense of Russia too much lately.

Trumpers on hearing that the trump arranged ceasefire was immediately broken:

He's not winning it... He's an international disgrace that has decreased global stability.

    He might win it.

People are learning how to play him and the primary way is to stroke his ego. Mark Rutte's text message, giant posters praising him in Israel, they're all doing one thing, stroking his massive ego.

And that aside, you can only imagine the lobbying that will go on his behalf. It's sickening, but we have to accept that this is the world in which we live.

I assume you meant decreased...or instability?

Didn’t realize politics and the presidency was meant to be a spectacle and entertaining for people.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,877 ✭✭✭✭For Forks Sake

Presidents aren't meant to be entertaining, something Trump is not, they're supposed to be..well, presidential.

AOC is stupid to bring impeachment proceedings. Trump is not going to be impeached not now or at any time during this presidency. The Democrats have failed twice. It's unlikely they will win the senate next eke tion and by tge way they are caught in the headlightsthey are unlikely to win Congress either. If you are going to be unpopular be unpopular when there is no election.

If the ceasefire holds and it looks like it will, Trumps strategy whether you like or dislike him will have worked. Iran will probably cease uranium enrichment and there nuclear enrichment programme will move abroad. As well they will start to reduce there terrorist supporting activities.

Netanyahu will start to deescalate his attacks against HAMAS and Hezbollah. Hezbollah will cease trusting Iran after it failed to support it when it was attacked earlier this year abdate last year. Netanyahu will take his chances with the Israeli public.

    Slava Ukrainii

Iran most definitely won’t stop Uranium enrichment and there nuclear program is still intact going by tonight’s reports.

Can you imagine if Hillary or Kamala had won and had spoken as he did on the White House lawn this morning?

I 100% believe Republicans would have called for them to be impeached for demeaning the office of the President if that had happened. The conversation around it would have made the furore over Obama's suit seem like a by line on page 15 of the weekend edition by comparison.

He's the most emotionally fragile president to hold the office in our lifetime. Possibly ever.

No offence to you personally, but this post reads like someone who hasn't paid attention to a single piece of current affairs in at least the last 2 years.
