What is this unifi I have?

So just bought a house and it has two unifi flying saucers covering the entire house (it's quite long).

As far as I can see, the BB comes in and then it goes via Cat cable to Unifi flying saucers. There appears to be three SSIDs found. The seller of the house gave us a password for the network with "guest" extention.

I have the unifi now connected to a 4g router for the moment but am trying to understand this unifi.

Is it monitored from somewhere? How can I tell? Is my browsing secure or is someone somewhere looking at logs and passwords. How can I tell?

I understand there is "a switch in the attic" which has saorview that then sends saorview to the coaxial ports in every room - its a weird house, could there be a centre command box for this somewhere? etc etc etc

Anybody give me any ideas what to look for.

    Many thanks in advance.

You should download the Unifi Network Server and install it on a laptop/desktop connected to your network.

    https://ui.com/download

You'll then need to do a reset on the APs (the flying saucers) by inserting a pin into the little hole near where the network cable connects to it. After they restart, the APs should show up in the Network Server app and be adopted into your set-up, where you can then configure them as you please.

The instructions are here for installing and adopting:

"just bought a house and it has two unifi flying saucers covering the entire house"...

Ummm... Was I the only one who initially thought that the OP was enquiring about UFOs hovering over their new house?!! :)

You should have a switch as well, that provides power,it may need adopted and/or reset but only after you install and adopt the WAPs ( aka the UFO).

If you can attach a picture will be great so we can best advise you here.
