correct horse battery staple, it is alarming to see how radicalised and aggresive your posts have become over the years.

Russia this and Russia that - how is this in any way relevant to thread? textbook whataboutery

Iran would be incredibly stupid to flame this by attacking U.S. troops. U.S. and Trump love that. Means they get to test out plenty hi tech firepower.

Macron, Mertz and Starmer urge Iran not to do anything against the US in response to having 6 nuclear facilities illegally bombed in 3 days and hundreds of civilians killed while being falsely accused of building nuclear weapons.

No condemnation at all though for breaking international law

This is part of the mind virus. Apparently the only people in the Middle East or possibly the entire world whose human rights are currently being violated are the Palestinians.

The Israelies didn’t have any human rights on Oct 7 or on any other of the many occasions they were attacked by Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran.
Either that or imply that these attacks are a figment of someone’s imagination.
The hard line brutal islamists governing Iran are apparently a great bunch of guys and the Iranians are happy enough with how things are.
The Iranian woman on RTÉ radio news today who said that the Iranians have been nearly starved to death by the government in order to pay for the nuclear program which lies in dust today is either a liar or a paid Zionist shill.
It goes on and on and on and it’s embarrassing.
Simon Harris on the radio today becoming more and more of a Walter Mitty/Captn Mainwering character everyday. Seemed surprised that the US hadn’t notified him of their intentions.

Watching footage of 44 Gazans and 86 of their relatives burning down the hotel the Malaysians brought them to live in when they accepted them as medical refugees, but none of you can explain to me why Egypt Jordan and none of the neighbours will have one single Gazan ?

According to some you will be absolutely delusional in your thinking but they'll never answer the last question. 😁

Quite noticeable though that they didn't express any 'support' for the US and Israel and the attacks on Iran. The statement above was probably the best they could do under the circumstances.

UK, France and Germany say that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon and to reign itself in....

UK, France and Germany urge Iran 'not to take any further action that could destabilize the region'

The UK, France and Germany have released a joint statement following American strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, saying that they call upon Iran to engage in negotiations leading to agreement that addresses all concerns associated with its nuclear program.

The three countries also urged Iran “not to take any further action that could destabilize the region”, adding:

“We have consistently been clear that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon and can no longer pose a threat to regional security.”

The Rest in Politics did an emergency podcast on the US attack, and it's quite depressing. Basically summarizing that this latest episode signals the end of the UN and the principles of international law, bringing us back into the climate of the early 20th century. They're also quite critical of European leaders for not showing any form of leadership.

Mind virus? I guess if you throw out a free terms it helps with the brainwashing. Loads of whataboutery really.

The issue is genocide. Most right thinking people agree that genocide is bad. Singling out a few bad egg gazans doesn’t make it right. You can’t throw out generalisations on any group of people. The issue is an out of control Zionist regime happy to dole out genocide on a neighbour. 80 years ago when the same treatment was being meted out on their grandparents the world rightfully paid attention and did something about it. Ironically some of these people now see no issue doing it themselves. Shameful and no amount of misdirection and lingo can cover that up. Incidentally plenty of holocaust survivors have condemned the Israeli administration on their actions.

Tonight's draft resolution at the UN set for 8.00 pm. Sounds quite reasonable to demand an unconditional ceasefire to stop the hostilities and lifting of all sanctions on Iran to pursue a peaceful civil nuclear program.

The draft, as shared by the source, strongly denounces the US attacks on what it describes as "peaceful" Iranian nuclear sites, which are monitored by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

It underscores that these strikes pose a significant threat to global peace and security.

Additionally, the document demands an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and emphasizes the obligation of all parties to protect civilians under international law.

The draft further advocates for a diplomatic resolution, proposing that Iran’s peaceful nuclear program be guaranteed in exchange for the lifting of all multilateral and unilateral sanctions.

Because no country probably wants to be seen to be a party to Israeli ethnic cleansing. Which is what some of your Israeli friends intend to do to the Palestinians. They would have no right to return as mentioned by Donnie. You surely can't deny that is the plan of Smotrich and Bibi who endorsed Donnie's plan for Gaza.

strong sense emerging now that iran has the organisational knowledge to make the nuclear bombs and the regime will have to go too

An adviser to Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday that the country still had its stockpile of enriched uranium despite attacks by the United States on key nuclear sites.

“Even if nuclear sites are destroyed, game isn’t over, enriched materials, indigenous knowledge, political will remain,” said Ali Shamkhani in a post on X.

He added that the “political and operational initiative is now with the side that plays smart, avoids blind strikes. Surprises will continue!”

Starmer has shown himself to be such an immense clown in all of this. It's almost impressive how utterly bad the Labour party have become. Absolutely no regard given to or lessons taken from the Blair years

Most analysts say the way to stop Iran having nuclear weapons was through dialogue and agreement. Attacking a country and bombing the hell out of it to supposedly impose "peace" seems utterly perverted - the countries doing this become the threat to peace and stability, not the one being attacked.

We all see how peace talks with Russia have gone. They were fairly unfruitful.
