    Cruz and his buddies used to think that Tucker was under their thumb, and as much as I dislike the man; he is not a bad journalist. A liar maybe, but many are.

    He had Cruz absolutely shook with some of those questions

    Carlson's been spouting white supremacist talking points for several years. He's done more than most to put the US and the world in this state. Asking a few questions does not suddenly make him a journalist.

    This interview shows that actually he IS a journalist.

    Just one with very few morals (which we knew anyway). He shouldn't be praised for pushing back on Cruz, he should be challenged for not having done this for so long.

    Mehdi Hassan is one of the only journalists who asked questions like this on mainstream outlets, but they quickly learned to stay away from him and ultimately when he shone a light on Israeli hypocrisy, the network shafted him.

    Society needs the type of interview Carlson gave Cruz, in full view, not just as an outsider somewhat on the fringes.

    What should be worth noting is whether Tulsi Gabbard will be one of Trump's team at the Iran Meeting he's convening in the "war room" at the White House overnight to give him good guidance on whether to, or not to, involve the US in the Iran/Israel war by using US military personnel to deliver lethal US war materiel directly onto the heads of the Iranian population without using any other country's military or proxies to do so, or whether he throws her under the bus by denying her involvement in the meeting.

    This is a distinct moment in time for Trump when he won't be able to point at some previous US presidents and blame them for what happens next. Given the geographical location of the war, I'd hope some-one would steer him to the '67 war [May 28th period] and how Johnson handled the situation on how to avoid the US getting dragged directly in on the ground to protect Israel. He'll either end up keeping his non-martial "America First" reputation intact or be seen as a President with bloody hands involved in a war which could end up FUBAR.

    US strikes in Yemen took unprecedented toll on civilians

    The research group Airwars, which monitors civilian harm caused by strikes in numerous conflict zones around the world, has released a report finding that US attacks in Yemen over the last 52 days killed nearly as many civilians as all US strikes in that country during the last 23 years.

    The US previously said that the multiweek campaign of strikes aimed at the Houthis for their attacks on Israel and Red Sea shipping in solidarity with Gaza were based on “detailed” intelligence and an emphasis on “minimizing risk to civilians”.

    Instead, the report found an unprecedented toll.

    “In the period between the first recorded US strike in Yemen to the beginning of Trump’s campaign in March, Airwars tracked at least 258 civilians allegedly killed by US actions,” the report states. “In less than two months of Operation Rough Rider, Airwars documented at least 224 civilians in Yemen killed by US airstrikes – nearly doubling the civilian casualty toll in Yemen by US actions since 2002.”

    Human rights groups have called for the investigation of two especially deadly incidents, the US bombing of Ras Isa Port and Saada’s Remand Detention Prison, which allegedly killed a combined 152 civilians and injured nearly 200 more

    Both Cruz and Tucker are odious despicable people. But unlike Tucker, Cruz is a public representative who has constantly let down the people who elected him. Although I hate to see Tucker win at anything, seeing Cruz squirm and humiliated made up for it.

    Seriously, just don't…really, just don't.

    You may have not read the nonsense you've posted on this thread (and others) over the past few years, but don't make the mistake of thinking that others haven't.

    You have continually and consistently come on here to post MAGA talking points and when confronted you run away, only to come back some time later to post more MAGA talking points.
