Russia probably has footage that shows Trump does not have a big dick.

Probably all bluster, but not denying they have contingency plans to take Canada and Greenland by force is somewhat disturbing.

there has been a number of votes taken since Trump came to power but they are all on specific issues. Such as (1) immigration policy

    (2) method used to activate it

    (3) the economy

    (4) the big and beautiful budget

    (5) climate change actions

The two questions that I have not seen re the ‘mood’ of Americans are (a) support for Ukr re the SMO by Russia and (B) if the clock was would back , then which canditate would you vote for as president?

One might look at US anti-drone defence missiles [20,000] intended for Ukraine being rerouted by the Pentagon to the US military forces [USAF] in the Middle East as they thought they could be more useful there and just say it's mere coincidence, and that the US did not have the slightest suspicion that Israel was about to make a pre-emptive strike on Iran. Its probably a hard-won sign of close co-operation between the two states.

The Israelis do not always co-operate with the US when it comes to its national defence. The USN has an anniversary around this time of year to the 34 US Navy Pers killed, 134 injured, by an Israeli Air Force fighter Jets and Navy torpedo boats [08 June 1967] attack on a US Navy signals surveillance Star and Stripe flagged ship [USS Liberty] during the 6-day war. The Israelis claimed it was a case of mistake identity.

And two weeks ago re-routing 20,000 anti drone missiles to Israel that were originally meant for Ukraine.

At the time I just assumed it was just the usual Trump being hateful and spiteful to Ukraine, but he knew Israel would need them pretty soon too. So Israel got them instead.

Even if they didn't require any support, assistance, materiel or information from the US, the Israelis will have told the US about this in advance because why wouldn't they?

(I mean, obviously, these days there's a sporting chance that if you tell the US about a forthcoming military operation, Pete Hegseth will share it on a WhatsApp group that includes his brother-in-law, his manicurist, his wife, his wife's manicurist, his wife's tennis partners, and his wife's tennis partners' manicurists. But that wouldn't greatly bother the Israelis, because the world and his dog knew this operation was coming anyway. So the Israelis will have told the US to avoid any possiblity about the US getting miffed because they weren't told.)

And, when the Israelis did tell them, the US will not have been in the least surprised, because an operation of this kind was widely expected. If the operation had happened without prior notice to the US, the US would not have been taken by supriise by the operation, but they would have been suprised that they weren't told about it beforehand.

Just watching Elton john getting inducted to the library of Congress a few years ago and when he praised the librarian and thanked her family and now they've been removed by trumps anti dei

DEI is just a way for employers to create more welcoming spaces for women and people from ethnic minority and LGBT+ communities. The right despise it because it's what they do. They project when they use lies like "diversity hires" as they know the idea is to hire on merit on not based on who someone is. We can see the proof of this in the promotion of barely sentient hams in suits such as Pete Hegseth.

This is hilarious! From 4.50 in the video, an ad on Craigslist looking for people to fill seats at the birthday parade, including 'people of color and ethnic groups for maximum perception control…' You could not make it up!

To remember that yesterday, a US senator was dragged to the floor and handcuffed for daring to ask a question during a press conference.

A clear silencing of a politician for daring to question a government official.

It was a shocking episode, and every security detail member should be asking themselves how they can continue to work for such an administration. An administration that pardons those who attack the capital but looks to arrest anybody who dares to raise a question.

No doubt this will be glossed over as a mistake, some people jumping the gun, a misunderstanding. It may well be part or al of those, but it is also a direct consequence of this administration purposefully going out to silence critics, to demonise the press, to label any protest as Anti-American (read Anti-Trump).

I recall in 2016 a picture of some guys wearing "I'd rather be Russian than a Democrat' t-shirts. Well, it seems they are very much going to get their way.

And before any comes back saying that it is hyperbole, ask yourself exactly what line would need to be crossed for you to see what is actually happening? What thing could he actually do that would make you think that there is something wrong here?

Snopes haven't been able to verify whether the content of the ad is real. The ad did appear in Craigslist but the organising firm doesn't appear to exist

    Both sides again.

Of course they do but not to this level and not for such evil ends.

Reems and reems of examples of egregious behaviour by Trump and his gang and rather than pick any one to address and push back on, by pointing out errors, the best you can muster is lazy false equivalence.

Would you care to comment on the ten ingredients of fascism I posted above and point out where I'm wrong, or where the Dems tick all those boxes?

    So peaceful, so anti-war.

I can only assume Trump is trying to save face, but he really is a hopeless idiot.

US president Donald Trump called the Israeli strikes on Iran “excellent” and said there were more attacks to come, in an interview with ABC news.

“I think it’s been excellent. We gave them a chance and they didn’t take it,” Trump told ABC on Friday morning.

“They got hit hard, very hard. They got hit about as hard as you’re going to get hit. And there’s more to come, a lot more.”

In a further post to Truth Social, Mr Trump added: “Two months ago I gave Iran a 60 day ultimatum to ‘make a deal.’”

“They should have done it! Today is day 61. I told them what to do, but they just couldn’t get there. Now they have, perhaps, a second chance!”

Hold your horses. There's often manipulation or propaganda to some degree on both sides. The video clip posted initially of the senator getting removed did not appear to show what led up to it. There's nothing wrong with applying critical thinking and simply looking for a source that showed everything, which AbusesToilets did and I thanked them for that.

And for what it's worth, the senator didn't just ask a question when invited to do so, but interrupted the speaker. Was he justified in doing so, given the radical statements she had just made? - Of course! Was he then manhandled and inappropriately removed? - Clearly so. And was there justification for this? - Of course not!

The point is that things are not always black and white, yet some posters here are so anti-Trump (albeit justifiably so) that they take issue with anyone who questions something that is worthy of questioning or clarification. That California Governor comes to mind here - what he said the other day in relation to Trump's mishandling of the protests is justified, but at the same time the guy comes across as disingenuous to me and most likely is trying to use the situation for his own or his party's agenda.

I think he's neither the worst nor the best U.S president there's ever been.

He's just the latest in a long line of ineffectual u.s heads of states masquerading as the "leader of the free world".

Trump is his own greatest abuser. He said in his first term he couldn't send in the national guard without a governors permission.

    He wants to be king.

Ninth Circuit has stayed the order pending appeal.

After reading through the District Judge's opinion, I note the one obvious thing he does not address is the previous precedent of federalisation against the governor's wishes by other presidents. It is possible that he believes they were also unlawful, or that the reasoning he uses does not apply in those cases, but it's an interesting omission I will be curious to see addressed.

So your only issue is that the truth is told? If this was a once-off off I would be in 100% agreement (although I had already seen the lead up, his asking questions and being removed). But this isn't a once-off. This follows a very clear pattern where the media at demonised. Visiting leaders are ambushed. Anyone who dares to criticise or even ask a difficult question is deemed as nasty and their character is attacked.

Trump always states that he prefers violence. From his "I love to punch him in the face' to saying that protesters will be hit hard. That is his language. He is using the Marines in LA for fear. Intimidation. And this is just the natural extension of that. Those around him, and those who support him will want to show that they, too, are hard and willing to take others down.

I was over in the US a few months ago, and this was a common theme.

Personally, I find it staggering that more people don't think that this guy is so different from any other president who's come before in what he's doing with the courts, congress, the universities, the budget, US allies, cosying up to Russia..… mind boggling..

And in the latest instalment of TACO, Trump yesterday admitted that his immigration policy is causing immense harm to agriculture, and he is going to start rowing back on it.

'We're going to have to do something about that (the removal of illegal immigrant farm workers). We can't take farmers and take all their people and send them back because they don't have, maybe what they're supposed to have.'

    Another policy failure by Trump.

In the strange world of judges decisions anything is possible when one has a chance to explain away decisions by saying "there is a precedent". I don't see Johnsons decision to federalize the NG, for the purpose of facing down the racist governor refusal to allow a black child attend a school in compliance with the law of the land, as bad in law.

I hope the judge doesn't follow the line of convenience some of the SCOTUS bench use when/where precedent SCOTUS decisions are concerned. He might just be contrary [or leftist] enough to give the Admin a "state your case" extra length of rope to hang themselves with. Having to wait for them to state their grounds of appeal is so dull.

Trumps comments show how out of control he is within his own administration. There isn't a hope in hell that Tom Homan or Stephen Miller would agree with those comments he made and they are the ones driving the worst of the activities we are watching being carried out by ICE.

Of course, Trump isn't acting because of any sort of aversion to those activities, per se, but because someone has probably had a word in his ear about the impact on commercial operations if such activities continue.

If Joe Biden had said the statement above, word for word, 12 months ago, Trump and Conservative media wouldn't have responded by calling him a radical communist.

And if it's discovered to be true tomorrow, is it too late to prevent mischief in the midterms? They're next.

Every accusation is a confession with the GQP. Guess they weren't ready in 2020, thank goodness for Covid slowing them down.
