Israel Launches strike against Irans Nuclear Programme

The only country in the world that won't be honest about its nuclear capability.

It's known they have at least 100 nukes that they hide from the world. Imagine if anyone else in the Middle East was pulling that sht.

They launched hundreds of drones. But these have been all intercepted by Israel and possibly western aircraft.

Sure, but Iran beating Israel in any kind of war is about as likely as Mexico defeating the USA.

Iran "obliterating" Israel would be about as likely as Vatican City overpowering Italy.

It all comes down to air power and precision strike ability because of the distance between them.

Iran has a small air force and air defense network that are both decades out of date.

All it really has are a limited stockpile of ballistic missiles, the same kind Russia has been hitting Ukraine with for years with relatively minimal effect.

Added to that, Israel has what Ukraine does not - one of the most advanced aerial defense networks in the world, as well as a cutting-edge air force that can operate in Iran with relative impunity.

Israel will want to minimize domestic casualties wherever possible, but even if Iran threw the entire kitchen sink of inventory at Israel in one swoop, they'd still achieve very little in the overall scheme of things.

Iran are really in a corner here. They simply cannot take on Israel militarily, and they don't have any allies.

Israel can wage a long-range war against Iran in the longer term. Iran absolutely cannot do the same.

One must be mindful of one's choice of words. You can't call for the obliteration of Israel off the face of the earth and not expect consequences.

simple words justify Israel attacking other countries, but indiscriminate bombings, assassinations, genocide etc do not justify Israel ever being attacked.

Except when it's Smotrich and others making similiar statements you don't expect consequences. We'd see how opened minded large bottle glass was if this pre emptive doctrine was used against Israel on the back of such statements. Oh its just words from people who have no real influence is the usual excuse. Also to describe criticism of war crimes as bias is in itself showing bias. He wouldn't frame criticism of the Russian military as anti Russian bias
