Both candidates were older than the three living ex presidents!

A proper geriatric race where all one side has to say is poo repeatedly and the other to appeal to reason.

It also follows the very simplistic base argument that criticising Trump/GOP governing & campaign policies etc. somehow equates to unequivocal support for Biden/Dems.

It's the prequel to it. Obviously the writers didn't know how it would have started, but we're getting to see it firsthand now.

If Biden had engaged in half the antics Trump has in the last 4 months, you absolutely would have been posting on an hourly basis to question his mental condition. Personally I think it's more a sign of incompetence but let's be realistic, it's noticeable how silent Trump supporters are while he endorses genocide, attempts to humiliate world leaders etc. In most countries, they would be querying the rationality of their leadership.

    against an authoritarian federal government

It's funny that the NRA and their ilk are very quiet…..you know their whole raison d'etre and unassailing defence of upholding the 2nd amendment

I'm sure he has something like this ready to go:

"NASA, we love NASA, and under my leadership — and people don’t talk about this enough — we made it lean, efficient, the most efficient it’s been since 1961, believe me. We cut out the waste, we focused on results, and we did more with less — like sending astronauts back to space from American soil, remember that? First time in years! Nobody thought it could be done, but we did it, and we saved a lot of money doing it. Tremendous success."

So is that 55% tariff on imports from China, or 10%?

They have to phrase it correctly.

President Trump you gave Putin 2 weeks to agree to a 30 day ceasefire or you would enact stronger sanctions, stronger than anything Biden would have done. Are you going to prove those people calling you a TACO that Trump never backs down.

But knowing Trump he'll start waffling about Biden again.

No I wouldnt have questioned his mental condition on an hourly basis simply because it was forbidden to do so.

Even the term Sleepy Joe was forbidden, it still is.

    Keep making false claims though.

Recently, China was levying 10% on US imports while the US charged 30% on Chinese imports. Unless there's been a complete reversal, Chinese imports into the US look to be hit with 55%

I remember when Biden was elected he was too old then when it was obvious Trump was going again the age thing was dropped in favour of senility.
both too old and probably not right up top for the job, one though managed to keep a steady ship without any real issues

Hope not. That film was two hours of Kirsten Dunst walking around looking worried.

You seem to be bypassing discussing everything Trump says. You've returned to the thread to complain about people questioning Trump's behavior which is frankly often deranged. Instead it's "But Biden", the reality is however old Biden was, the previous administration was competent and wasn't making enemies of all of its allies.

Personally I don't think Trump or Biden currently have dementia but let's say we say Biden had dementia, the US was better off under his administration still. Now we've got a US who are destroying their relationships with allies and are arse licking the totalitarian states such as Russia who are actively endangering global security and free elections.

Mod: Stop the speculation about Trump having dementia, if you didn't like it when it was said about Biden you shouldn't be happy to do it now. The principle is the same regardless of your opinion of the person being discussed. Warnings will follow if it continues.

It's actually even more pathetic than that.

They can't rename them back to the original names as the legislation passed under Biden blocks that and Trump knows he'd be incapable of getting an actual legislative change

So Fort Bragg for example was originally named after General Braxton Bragg a confederate General , now though it'll named after a Private Roland Bragg , a Silver Star recipient who served during the 2nd World war whose only real claim to fame is his relatively uncommon surname..

So now they'll be searching the archives for old Military personnel with the same names as the original Confederate guys so they can "rename" the Bases back to their original Confederate namesakes.

For someone who doesn't appear to like Mexicans he seems to be a big fan of Taco. Regarding the club world cup article that was posted earlier I was thinking last night that if I was Pochettino I'd be out the gap. Imagine when he finds out the coach of the soccer team is from South America he'll be rounded up by ICE for losing too many matches.

Its quite revealing that everyone who constantly proclaimed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with Bidens cognitive ability are entirely convinced that Trump is senile or has dementia without a shred of proof.

Can you show us who exactly on here posted those claims?

So Chinese students are ok to attend and be students at ALL US universities, which has always been good with Trump! TACO anyone?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 839 ✭✭✭poop emoji

They can’t attend American universities if those universities are no longer funded and accredited as a “university” *

Taps side of hollow MAGA head

    • the MAGA attack against higher education and science continues (see nasa article higher up too)
    • Trump University is the best and only university

As always - What he's saying isn't actually true.

No deal is done , the two teams of negotiators have agreed that they will implement the terms of the temporary "Trade cease-fire" that was announced about a month ago.

No actual trade deal is done or anything remotely close to it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 839 ✭✭✭poop emoji

That’s a good spot, yeh has a whiff of the “UK trade deal” about it which is anything but

If Biden died in the morning, he'd still be a far smarter and more competent president than Trump. I actually think my dog would make a smarter and more competent president. As for those lickspittles he's surrounded himself with, at least Biden's people could run things in his cognitive absence, the only real function of the cult surrounding Trump is to use their face as Trump's toilet paper, so no hope there of anything smart coming from them.

Alas, America is MAGA now, there's no getting around it any more. It's the authoritarian ruled empire they always dreamed of it being. Great for the MAGA heads (for now, it'll eventually hit them, they're too dumb and workshy for it not to), but anybody with half a brain can see the US is fast becoming Trumpistan with all the trappings of a mentally deranged dictatorship. The western Tajikistan.

And while the Democrats may be weak at getting their message across, it's safe to say that the Republicans are the most spineless, gutless and sycophantic traitors the US has ever seen. I honestly can't see how anybody could vote for the Republican party after this Trump presidency unless they're complete morons, utter degenerates, racists, cowards, traitors or a Trump worshipper. They really are deplorables. The only consolation is that they've probably ended their nation as an influence on the world stage, no-one interested in the best for their country will ever follow the example of the US after this scumbag driven, hate and grievance-fuelled, degenerate sh!tshow.

I disagree. There's plenty of resistance to Trump as we've seen in California and elsewhere. Tens of millions of Americans may have voted for Trump but the country's population is about 350 million. It's not nearly enough to say that MAGA has taken over the whole place.

The Republicans may basically be a 21st century version of NSDAP but that doesn't mean they'll succeed. Hitler came to power in a country that existed for less than 15 years. The USA is 250 years old. Its institutions may have been captured by MAGA but that won't be enough for them to impose their will on the whole country, especially if blue states decided to cut off red states' handouts.
