Making Outdoor table. What material to use for mosaic tiles to sit on top ?

    Hi

    Want to make a garden table with mosaic tiles ..

    Im at a loss deciding what to put the tiles onto.

    Ideally I would use marine ply but this would work out quite expensive ...

    Anyone any ideas ?

    The shape will be an octagon measuring 63 CMS wide
