Is it possible to get a coax splitter (threaded) like in the photo where the OUT connectors are at right-angles to each other

Thanks, I was looking for all three to be Type-F Female.
In reality, is there a difference between the items in the attached photos?

Yes there probably is a difference, the lower one is likely to allow power passing in one direction only. Depends on what you're planning to use it for.

The upper pair appear to be straight thru' splitters, any one input to two outputs

2 Way Virgin Splitter - Splits TV & Modem for Broadband & Phone

This was recommended here previously for Virgin Media connections

Ignore what I posted previously, the lower one has power passing in both directions so probably will do what you want it for

Thanks, I'm still wondering about the difference between the two splitters above. My issue is specific to the layout of the splitter, due to trunking in which the splitter will be placed. If I could get a splitter that has one of the "out" in line (with the "In") and the other at 90° then it would work for me

I'm assuming there is something internal in the second one to prevent cross-interference between the two outputs and the return power passing but I can't confirm. It's been almost 20 years since I've had cable TV/broadband
