    I've had my parents dog sitting literally on the top of my head when she managed to piss off German shepherd boy more than 3 decades ago. Saying that, it wasn't a fault on each canines sides, there was a shít tons of búllshit involved before it ended up that way, but that day she definitely protected her own back😁 and I loved the way she chose me as her back protector. That girl was just a bit smaller and I mean tiny bit, than German shepherd.

    Just curious as to why it was removed?

    To be clear, it wasn't a dig at the mods.

    I am genuinely demotivated by the path the site is be going down.

    It appears to be dying a slow death.

    Mod: I honestly don't remember what it was but I'm going to double check. From now on please PM me (or the other mods) for queries like this, one of the site rules is not to question the mods' actions on thead, but we'll be happy to clarify separately (in this case me, as I'm almost sure I did it, even if I was half asleep at the time).

    Edit: Sorry Hermy, I just remembered you're a mod, too, so I was preaching to the choir - I'm either still asleep or thick or both.

    Jokes aside, the switch to Vanilla definitely hasn't done the site any favours. I feel like we exchanged one set of problems for an entirely different set of problems

    Anyway, the site is (in Internet terms) old as **** and is going into decline the same way all old websites do. Particularly in the age of social media giants a small message board site isn't going to thrive

    Doesn't mean it's dying, personally I like the smaller user base, feels more like what a social network should be rather than some rat race of amassing social cachet while having ads shoved in your face

    That's a good point!

    It just seems like every other week I spot another issue that isn't being addressed.

    I know the old site had its problems too but back then the whole thing felt like a much more collaborative affair.

    Now it seems like problems are just left on a shelf to gather dust.

    And that's a shame because I still enjoy the old place despite that.

    Considering the calibre of some people out there, I wouldn't be sure that deedee megadoodoo was joking. How can anyone manage to turn a frying pan into a roll is beyond me, anyway.
