For the number of dry(ish) days, the count of predictions (not including NormaL) is

(as with all forecast Con Sensus values, median is taken, the mean in this case being 14.35).

The overall consensus for June seems to be rather warm, good chance of a hot spell later on, a bit unsettled with average sunshine. Not one of us foresees a below average temperature and 16 of 23 expect more rain than average (two say normal, five below). There are a few quite high rainfall predictions despite the median being only 11% above average. The range of sunshine forecasts is 90 to 135 per cent of normal, the median being exactly normal. Joe Public has the extremes for MAX and MIN temps in both directions, 31.9 and 0.4 C. The least extreme predictions are 24.8 and 3.6 C.

It's that time again ... enter your forecast for seasonal totals of storms, hurricanes, and major hurricanes (in the North Atlantic basin) ... using NOAA official counts as our contest guide. 

Include any named storms already in the books by 06z June 7th in your total (as of now, count is 0/0/0). 

1991-2020 average values 14/7/3 ... 2025 seasonal forecasts from various experts average 17/9/4 (so far). I will include a few of these as of June 7 as non-entries for ranking against our forecasts (without changing our contest ranks). 

I extended the entry deadline based on the situation as of 06z June 2nd. You can edit or revise any entries up to final deadline, no need to bring attention to edits as I won't be trying to create a table of entries until deadline is passed. 

Boards.ie weather forum and Net-weather (UK) will be invited to participate. Ranks will be provided (a) over all entries and (b) within forums, or fora if anyone here is a Latin purist. 2024 winner was Kirkcaldy Weather of Net-weather.
