    two big injuries for Kerry

If cork start taking their goal chances there could be a big shock in store

    that’s a huge score

Wind or no wind Kerry have it all to do here

    3

Cork putting in a performance against Kerry shouldn’t be seen as a shock anymore.

I’d be more shocked if they did it against anyone else 😅

Kerry should win with that wind behind them in the second half. Cork will be ruing a bad start.

Plenty problems for Kerry, key injuries, wiped out on kickouts at both sides, Cork getting through the defence so easily. If Cork could get a goal, it could make things very interesting.

Kerry came out the worst of that double black as well

    Big boost for cork

Two point frees for technical breaches just have to go

    Ridiculously harsh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,898 ✭✭✭robbiezero

Complete nonsense and another one just here. No need of it at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,898 ✭✭✭robbiezero

    2 points for that. FFS.

Clifford the difference between the 2 teams.

Down doing well. I thought they were just there to make up the numbers.

Down surely have a strong breeze?

BIg change in attitude this half from Kerry. Much more aggressive tackling and they have easily put this one to bed.

What was Niall Morgan at? Nice lead for Mayo at HT. The question now is will Mayo hold on to that lead?

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Ryan O Donoghue is awful. He had one or two middling seasons but he's generally a poor shooter and doesn't contribute much from open play bar fouls and turnovers. The frees are padding out his record.

    You might be right.

O'Shea is a magnet for abuse but he still has a lot of influence. Maybe the most possession tonight.

Terrible miss from Kearney there. 5 up would have been big.

O'Shea always puts in a shift. Himself, Ruane and Durkin are Mayos most reliable players. This new O Brien lad looks useful. The rest are limited workhorses.

Brilliant win for Mayo. Chaotic game which suited them. Had to dig deep when Tyrone came at them and got the goal in the 2nd half, it they responded and fully deserving winners.

Very Likely all teams on 2 going into last round.

Great win for Mayo, looked like they were going to fold at about 50 minutes. But Mayo got a penalty.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Most entertaining and energetic performance from Mayo in quite a while. Fun to watch.

First half of cork kerry was fun. Hope Dublin Armagh is fun too.

Called it two weeks mayo would beat tyrone. Rochford gives them a big edge.

Assuming Donegal beat Cavan, that group is going to be insanely tight final round

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,641 ✭✭✭MfMan

Don't agree. he is one of the more reliable of Mayo's forwards; aside from the scores he does get, look how many link-ups he's involved in also. If the rest did as much… Even the last score tonight, when the hooter went, he didn't just boot it out of play, he played on and set up another score which could all count towards score-difference.

I didn't see that Mayo victory coming - Tyrone were so off it tonight. The AI is very open, the pundits are very quick each week to write teams in and out of contention - Tyrone beat Donegal, then lose to Mayo who lost to Cavan, Dublin lose to Meath then beat Galway. Kerry, the favorites but who've played nobody of note so hard to judge.

Really interesting to see what happens tomorrow - Galway could be effectively out tomorrow if they lose to Derry…

Jeez Aidan O'Shea was great this evening. Some servant.

I can’t remember who the poster was on here who said (after Cavan beat Mayo) that it would be just like Mayo if they beat Tyrone, and Donegal.
But others laughed at the idea. Including me! That poster is half way to be proven right!

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.
