Cracker of a game. Milan the better more aggressive side and were good value for the win, very surprising result.

    Inter 4 - 4 Juventus

    Boring Italian football.

Milan have gotten 2 wins in last 3 games (udinese and Monza) but absolutely rescued by very dodgy VAR calls. Will be interesting to see if Fonseca can build on it or if it will eventually show them/him to be quite dysfunctional.

That was a seriously enjoyable Super Cup.

Inter went 2-0 up and were in control. Milan got it back in the second half to 2-2 and Tony Abraham scores the winner in injury time - he got the player of the match despite doing nothing in his 15 substitute appearance bar the winning goal.

Back to back derby victories for Milan. Atmosphere would have been unreal if it were in Milan.

Fantastic match although the atmosphere would have been much better in Milan, I thought it was good for a game in the middle east. Great comeback by Milan but a terrible crumble by Inter.

Beyond a joke to give a peno for that handball

While I agree it's soft, the corner Inter scored from should have been a goal kick, the ball was clearly over the line. I thought the ref had a poor first half overall, but Inter deserved the win in the end really.

Ah man what a freaking great game

Pedro slots the injury time penalty to take all 3 points v 10 man Milan, fine game.

With Inter Milan making the CL final, I thought I'd have a look at Serie A, and the race for next year's top 4 places is very finely poised. 4 of the involved teams also face each other this week, Atalanta and Lazio being the home sides.

Roma are hitting a purple patch at just the right time too.

Can I ask what do Ac Milan fans think of Leão?

    What do the ultras think?

From my own personal view, he's shocking. He shows glimpses of something but I know if I was an Ac Milan fan Id be getting new tvs every week because id be throwing the remote at the tv while watching him.

They really need to sell him in the summer

Bologna win the Copa Italia for their first trophy in 51 years*. Great to see, it was a shame the team that qualified for the CL last year lost a lot of their best players and their manager in the summer.

*Unless you include the intertoto cup in 98. That tournament was rubbish though from what I recall. Newcastle won it at some stage aswell but they don't count it at all I don't think.

Not even close to being the most annoying player on the team. Generally Milan fans couldn't care about any if them right now and if the whole team was sold this summer it wouldn't matter.

A shock, but good to see.

Also, see that Sampdoria went down to Serie C. Sad day for them. Have very fond memories of watching them play some amazing stuff in the 80s with Lombardo, Vialli and Mancini. Back when Serie A was great to watch.

That Napoli team are a dreadful watch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,542 ✭✭✭dor83

But they'll still win the scudetto, Inter have thrown it away this season.

any team with Lukaku is terrible to watch. He is footballing kryptonite, its a dreadful reflection on the league that they’ll win it

Such a pity Napoli didn't lose last night.

I really want that playoff final.

Only just spotted that the title is to be decided tomorrow night.

Yeah, with Inter being in the CL final they needed to play early to allow time for a playoff if both teams finish level.

What a couple of cracking goals form McTominay and Lukau to surely seal the title tonight

What a fantastic year in Italian football for the underdog.

Despite being a fan of one of the overdogs it's impossible to begrudge the 2 winners (and those fuking snakes if they win the Champions League next week)
