I’d like to know the answer to this also… it used to be if the ref gave you the advantage and you missed it was hard luck on you for not making the most of the advantage given.

But now they seem to have taken the advantage rule from rugby? (No expert on rugby) where play is brought back for a free if no advantage accrues.

If that is the rule you’d wonder why more players on an advantage don’t go for goal more as there’s nothing to lose really.

Congratulations to Cork better team today. However I don't want to hear a single complaint from Cork supporters about poor refs or cynical play for the rest of the championship. Cork as dirty and cynical as anyone.
