Imagine if he bothered confronting Putin about committing genocide? Weirdly doesn't have the guts to do anything when it matters.

imagine lying when truth is a simple Google away

Give over, that is exactly what he was getting at, and you well know it. Musk was even there and he also peddles that as well.

All of a sudden you seem to care about white SA farmers, and it is ironic to the moon that Trump would try and throw shade at another country when crime in America is not exactly a poster boy for the world.

Classic attempt from a Trump supporter to try and deflect, this was yet another ambush by Trump, complete with a video this time, all trying to look high and mighty. And he just looks like a bully and a child.

You are literally denying what happened, as it has just happened.

    Ramaphosa.png

That moment when Ramaphosa realises he's been Zelenskyy'd. He's thinking, "I wore a suit, dammit. A SUIT."

chap is unhinged. Incapable of getting along with people. Thrives on being a cu€t

It literally took seconds. I suppose when one has defended Trump from mocking disabled reporter Serge Kovaleski to claiming he could shoot someone and not lose a single supporter to grifting and spreading anti-vaxx drivel during covid to the January 6th coup attempt to being found liable for rape then why would they stop now?

The best bit was when they Blue Peter'd it with "Well, here's something we prepared earlier."

@Kermit.de.frog Might be on interest to you. Or, ignore it and claim it didn't happen. This is what goes on when you are part of a cult.

One thing which will be on the command-rank persons is how having two or more soldiers/sailors/aircrew of unequal capability working together in a hot or combat zone when failure, due to unequal capability, results in failure of mission due to fatalities. Its not merely the result of block-ticking on a sheet of paper or a policy instruction that one must treat all the subordinates in the unit as equal across the board in order to get ahead in the US DF that is at risk, its the physical life of the unit as a whole.

As Manic Moran put it, a CO is responsible for the behaviour of every member of his/her unit whether he/she was aware or not of what the unit members were or are doing. One ****-up can not only kill members of the unit, but the morale of the unit while the offender behind the [sometimes] unlawful act remains very much alive rubbing in the hurt and injury the unit suffers. Its not something that can be shrugged off once its inside the heads of the unit personnel.

That said. I like the DEI policy as it helps those with capability denied the opportunity to rise excellently in the service they have joined. It can fail, at times, like the [its macker's turn for promotion] unwritten policy in a very large organization and the person faulted can be shifted sideways to a different task in the organization without harm.

One thing that Trump has proven is that he is a class example of the fault which should be shifted sideways, which, in his case, should be to the exit door. He is way beyond the "woodener" level.

People really need to just stop having these meetings with him.

Don't care if it damages relations. You can't trust any deal done anyway.

In fairness to Ramaphosa, one of the few things Trump has been consistent on is his pathetically sycophantic habit of kissing up to tyrants and mass murderers. The fact that the right loves to employ fake concern about white farmers might have tipped him off though.

Why doesn’t he give asylum to black farmers?

Failing to meet standards is not the exclusive domain of women, or other minorites. Plenty of service members, even at the most elite level, prove themselves unfit for their station. Recognizing and cultivating competency is a leader's prerogative, so if there are failures they rightfully carry the blame for not addressing them.

DEI policies exist because groups faced a prejudice of incompetency or suitability, as you said. There's nothing to gain from disgarding them. Hegseth is a disgrace, and his efforts clearly show the malign intentions behind his actions. For me, anyone who is supportive of them is equally displaying their values.

You've been caught out in your anti-Trump rage and hysteria like the other one @Frank Bullitt resorting to lies. 🙄

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,565 ✭✭✭✭Frank Bullitt

By your very narrow standards, that word had to be part of the conversation, not the photographic evidence he showed, what he insinuated, what Elon Musk (his right hand man) has been spouting, and the decision to provide asylum to only WHITE South Africans, not black.

The many ways of communication, according to Kermit.

To be fair to the frog. The article says "genocide" but nowhere in the clip they include does Trump say it.

Theres also no full quote in the article, just "genocide". They have full quotes from both Trump and Ramaphosa in the article that are in the clip but "genocide" is not in the clip.

I'm not claiming he did or didn't, I didnt watch the oval office spectacle.

I'm only commenting on the article and video within that you linked.

Now now now, no need to get ratty there.

Hysteria would apply to Trumps behaviour and treatment of another head of state, which is quite pathetic. But I have laid out what he has said and showed, you are free to ignore it. Just because you don't agree with it, doesn't mean it is a lie.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,176 ✭✭✭✭ancapailldorcha

Playing the film to Ramaphosa amounts to the same thing. The MAGA types know this but they're desperate to protect him from any criticism of any kind so we get semantics.

    My point stands.

I mean it doesn't and that's not what you linked it to prove. Otherwise you'd have said "well Trump didn't actually say the word genocide but he was essentially saying it with video/photos and general rhetoric".

Instead you argued that kermit was wrong to state Trump never used the word genocide.

You linked an article that you thought proved he actually did use the word "genocide". But the article although stating it does not back it up with the clip. You did not watch the clip in the article you linked.

So the article is either deliberately misleading or he said it but they didn't include it in the clip they chose.

Either way you have not proved your argument as you claim to have.

Trump baselessly claimed white farmers are being “executed” in South Africa after having their land taken away. Ramaphosa replied: “They’re not.”

Generally, during a genocide, people are executed.

We have many people that feel they’re being persecuted, and they’re coming to the United States. So we take from many ... locations, if we feel there’s persecution or genocide going on.

Generally, they’re white farmers and they’re fleeing South Africa, and .... it’s a very sad thing to see. But I hope we can have an explanation of that, because I know you don’t want that.

    Happy now?

I have. I'm not interested in semantics. Trump knew that that film would be played. It amounts to the same thing.

Is that from the oval office today? It's still not saying what you want it to say though.

It's ironic that there seems to be an almost Mandella effect taking place with posters on this topic.

If someone can link a quote or clip where Trump said "there's genocide being committed in SA" then the frog is wrong.

Otherwise his argument is valid and posters need to say " in their opinion its being implied by Trump"

I suppose the fact he has no respect for the office of POTUS, why would we expect him to have any respect for any other elected President . Non elected now is another thing, they seem to get RESPECT!

Trump, the guy who talked about moving Gazans out to make way for a Trump resort lecturing anyone about genocide…..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,014 ✭✭✭✭Kermit.de.frog

You are the one engaging in semantics. Trump didn't say what you said he did. Now you're claiming "this is what he meant".

I haven't used any semantics, just stated the fact he didn't say that.

    I accept your humble apology.

Your original response to kermit was quite literally arguing semantics. He had spelled out his position multiple times to Frank.

That position was that trump never used the word genocide.

You linked an article and said "he did, took 5 seconds to prove" or something to that effect. But the article did not prove it.

So in reality you're just not interested in semantics when you're wrong.
