I know. It's quite an act. Dramatic yet meaningless posts, massive bias, no self awareness and then disappears when the questions appear.

Nine aid trucks were authorised to enter Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing after 11 weeks of a complete blockade, a mere “drop in the ocean of what is urgently needed”, the UN’s humanitarian chief, Tom Fletcher, said on Monday. Five trucks carrying baby food and other desperately needed aid entered Gaza, according to the Israeli defense body in charge of coordinating aid to Gaza, COGAT. The UN has long said Gaza needs at least 500 trucks every day.

After increased international pressure, Israel allows baby food into Gaza. Baby food. The sheer revolting barbarity of Israel is completely and utterly unheard of in modern times. A vile and disgusting terrorist state openly declaring their plans for genocide while their supporters pretend there are no food shortages and everything in Gaza is fine, trying to weasel their way out of openly supporting genocide so they might sleep at night.

I wish I were religious so I could truly believe that Israel-supporters would face judgement for this.

These Israel supporters in here live under the delusion that we are all consuming some Hamas propaganda. No, we are literally listening to what Israel is telling us. They could not possibly be more explicit in their actions and intentions. They have normalised genocide to the point where their supporters actively defend it.

Another balanced summary of the calls by UK, France and Canada for Israel to cease and desist.

Worthy of highlighting is that UK and France are looking at recognising Palestine as an independent State.

Jeremy Bowen links the start of the shift in sentiment towards Israel to the IDF executions of the 15 medics and all the lies that were told.

The shift certainly started to become more forceful, from those who had only chided Israel up to that point, around that time. The increasing military campaign and the Israeli starvation tactics since then have just confirmed to the world that Israel is in berserker mode and will not stop voluntarily.

Those in the know are well aware that regardless of any aid going into Gaza from now on will make no difference - people will starve and die - especially kids. Doctors reported that due to malnutrition over months and months, their teeth are falling out.

That Israel has allowed just 5 aid trucks in is abhorrent but clearly makes the statement that Israel is only doing it to appease the crescendo of condemnation. People are not stupid though and will continue to pile the pressure on for the Genocide to stop. But even that is and will be too late for many innocents.

Just read this on Haaretz - an article describing how some Israelis are reacting to Oct 7th and Gaza. Its disturbing that people think like this and believe it.

There are many of these in present-day Israel. Spiritual people who view the annihilation of the other as a form of personal growth and the eradication of the enemy as empowerment. They live in one big retreat, where consciousness is so finely tuned that all noise disappears, all disturbances are muted, so that they are left with only themselves, them and their inner being – pure, compassionate, unsullied – and finally able to connect with what resided there all along, waiting to be revealed: The desire to annihilate and destroy millions of people, including children, women and the elderly. With great love.

One day before Holocaust Remembrance Day, standup comedian and satirist Gil Kopatz, who has been flirting with spirituality and religion for years, posted the following: "If you feed sharks, they eventually eat you. If you feed Gazans, they eventually eat you. I support making sharks extinct and exterminating Gazans. Reflections for Holocaust Remembrance Day 2025."

After the post generated a "storm," Kopatz posted a clarification: "I don't have an ounce of compassion for the Gazans. For Arabs as a whole, yes, for human beings as a whole, yes, for sharks – no, and not for human beasts." Of course, his desire to eradicate millions of people doesn't imply he's a bad person. Indeed, "I consider myself to be a humane, liberal and moral person," he writes. To top it off, he ends the post with a bit of dark humor: "It's not genocide, it's pesticide, and its essential." A regular riot that one, eh?
