    Hi All

I am looking at the below from the Civil Serrvice rate (2017 rates 07/2017 Circular)

    image.png

If I am paying for the Hotel for 5 x nights in london…. is the employee only entitled to the £66.43 per day??

The employee is training from 10am-5pm every day and

    1. Taking a bus from his hotel to training centre every day

    2. I am paying for his taxi from Airport to Hotel and back.

    3. he is on B&B in Hotel

So -. is the £66.43 to cover his Lunch and Dinner and Bus fare???

And no receipts needed ??? QUESTION ?? Am I correct on this ???

What is this VA Rate at £99.65…. it is confusing me.

Hope someone can help… Many thanks

I think the rates are different now, changed in the last few years.

The 2017 circular is the most recent one for foreign travel. VA rate is the vouched accommodation rate. If paying the £199.29 rate then no receipts needed. Receipts for public transport should be retained.
