Which Monitor?????

    Hi Everyone,

    I need some help and advice from people who know more than me. I'm getting a new monitor and want to know which of these meets my requirements best or indeed if there's much of a muchness between them.

    We need a 27" - that's not going to change. Herself initially had a preference for a curved one but now it's more about ease on the eyes.

    The monitor will be used in the home office but it will be used for looking at CT scans like the one below:

    I've no idea what's important for something like CT scan viewing, but I have some questions about it.

    Would a high refresh rate help with viewing them? I can't help but think a higher refresh rate would help with viewing, and possibly help avoid any eye strain. I see both are listed at 180Hz, is that a deliberate choice reflecting that concern?

    Or are there other factors that are worth considering? I'm guessing colour space isn't exactly something that matters.

    To be honest the refresh rate was more of a consequence than a decision. With viewing these images they are static but it is the contrast and "grey" areas that are of concern along with resolution which is why I have chosen QHD and 4K monitors. The current monitor I have is old and doesn't even get up to HD resolution which is leading to eye strain.
