Same here in Celbridge. My alarm first reported a GSM Line fault at approx 7:50pm this evening and the panel started beeping. Entered code and beeping stopped but the panel leds for fault and alarm continued to flash away for a few hours then stopped. All the time I had no access from the HKC Securecomm2 App. Message on app when I try login now saying "Our mobile network partners are investigating an issue etc.." Now (11:10pm) the panel just started beeping again with same GSM Line Fault. Had to enter code at panel to stop beeping again. Hoping it doesn't keep happening all night....

Same here. Fortunately I disabled the beeping for the fault a while back as I had the access code. Still irritating that it's not functioning.

Anyone on the sim had the same issue as that is what went down.

Unfortunately it was a power outage in Spain which is where they are all connected to.

Interesting. I had wondered if it was related.

I’m getting frequent gsm line fault notifications. More so in the last couple of weeks. I can get the system serviced but wanted to check if there’s any way to actually know when hkc servers are down so I can see if I am actually having any genuine outages. Even for the installer is there some way they can check if it’s a genuine connection issue or just hkc server being unreliable and inaccessible.

GSM communicators are at the mercy of mobile operators networks and most especially changes to same which consumers may be unaware of.

I doubt it if this is a HKC server issue, as their systems have certainly become alot more reliable now since that outage from last year.

That issue in Spain was due to the Telefonica network going down, that took a certain amount of HKC GSM's down with it.

However since then they have been stable so I would recommend that you report this issue to your installation company.

They may need to consider repositioning your communicator to another position within your home in order to get more favourable GSM coverage.

We have done likewise in the past and as I said previously, the issue may be due to GSM providers making changes to their own networks
