What're you using to clean your rifle barrels? I was looking for Shooters Choice, but no more than the 40 grain ammo I had no luck finding it online.

All I've used for years are dry pull through bore snakes. Never a problem.

Most any of the modern cleaning products today are good, its mainly down to user preference, the secret is every now and then plug the breech with some cotton and fill the barrel and let it soak, bronze brushes are fine but never put partially down the barrel and try to pull it back.

Bore-snakes, I hate them and wouldn't let one near my rifles. Most people never ever clean them so basically your pulling a dirty soaked snake down the barrel. Old style military pull-throughs are fine if you use them properly, you have to be care of the muzzle when pulling through. Best to invest in a one piece cleaning rod or a least a three piece one and always use good cotton patches of the right size.

Remember - it's far easier to clean a firearm just after shooting when it's still slightly warm, basically getting the crud and unburnt primer/powder out, later cleaning is then far easier.

    Just my tuppence worth.

Thorroclean. A 2 part cleaner, especially good for center fire rifles.

This is where I get mine. I do like Bore Tech.
