FTTH Broadband Installation Issue

    Hi all,

I’m hoping for some advice regarding an issue I’m facing with getting FTTH broadband installed via OpenEir.

There’s a blockage in the ducting just outside my wall, located on the forecourt of a petrol station. OpenEir came out to investigate and tried to clear the blockage, but unfortunately, they were unable to resolve it.

They’ve now informed me that the only solution is to break the concrete to access the duct and fix it. However, they mentioned it could take months for the necessary team to come and do the work.

I’m hoping there might be an alternative solution that avoids digging up the forecourt. Has anyone experienced something similar or found a workaround that OpenEir would accept?

Any suggestions, advice, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
