    Did anyone install a condenser boiler recently.…and if so did you find it better than the older ones..

    Yes, several years ago. Like chalk and cheese. Condenser boilers are vastly more efficient than the older models. We also upgraded our hot water cylinder and controls at the same time - for which we received a grant.

    We changed about four years ago. It's much more efficient. We're using much less oil than before.
